Day Lewis Pharmacy Southmead

"This chemist is unbelievably slow. The prescriptions for my mum which she needed friday took 4 days and it still wasnt ready when i collected. I was being served and then the cashier started a ten minute conversation with someone already being served. There is always a queue and obviously not enough staff to deal with demand. How Day Lewis have taken on the chemist opposite is an absolute disaster as they can't run one chemist in a professional timely manner let alone two. I give this chemist no stars and will not be using again."

"And that's being generous, put a repeat prescription in 23rd went to pick up 30th told not ready. I then went to doctors surgery and was told it was sent over the 23. Went back to chemist to tell her that only to be told come back at 230. On the way out asked another assistant who found my tablets was again told to come back at 230 as they needed a chemist to check. Funny first assistant couldn't find at the back or waiting with pharmacist. Went back 3rd time only given tablets and no paper work of when made up, funny that. Every time this same assistant serves she can't find it. I've friends who won't go there because fed up with bad service"

"This chemist is absolutely useless! I put a prescription in plenty of time for my contraception pill, I went a few days later to collect like normal and after waiting 40 minutes in a queue, one staff member finally served me. I then seen the same staff member serve 2 other people, another staff asked me if I had been served and I said I’m not sure, the first member said oh I couldn’t find it so I served others without even telling me! They then told me that they can’t get any stock of my pill and I have to go elsewhere. Why didn’t they contact me and tell me this when I ordered it days in advance when I put it in to give me enough time to find it elsewhere? Why couldn’t they order it in and just say there will be a delay but it’s coming? I’ve rang around the entire of Bristol for this pill and as it’s a special one due to my cancer history no one has it. Eventually the lovely Morrisons pharmacy have told me they can order it for me, which day Lewis didn’t bother to think about. Now Morrisons have contacted me to say day Lewis haven’t even released the prescription so no other pharmacy are actually able to scan the prescription. Morrisons have tried to call day Lewis, no answer. I’ve just called 6 times and no answer. Now I’m going to have to find time in my day at work, working healthcare there isn’t much free time, to go and stand in another 40 minute queue just to tell them how to do their job properly. This pharmacy has always been a joke! Now I have to suffer over the festive period because of such simple errors. DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY"

"Always a long slow queue. Always a back log. Even if the Dr puts it through at an appointment you can wait days for emergency medication. This chemist is a joke. Also staff just shrugged and said well we got three members of staff off. Not my problem not enough staff running the place when they are all in. Slow slow slow. Everything on sell in this extremely slow il managed chemist is five times the price of anywhere else in southmead. So il managed and well over priced surprised their still open considering what a shoddy service it is."
