"I have been here for the whole month of December. The facilities are quite decent, the hostel is very central, beds are fairly comfortable. However, what makes this place outstanding, and I want to rate it with 5 stars, is the service and the friendliness of the manager Felipe. It was my second time here and he was even able to remember of me after several years from my last visit. Thank you Felipe! You are an incredibly humble, hardworking and friendly person. Wish him and the hostel all the best!"
"They advertise private rooms but when I called they said the don’t have any private rooms and additionally require you to book for a minimum of 1 week."
"Very near to the city centre Accessibility to market and food is very very good. The only issue is the noise. As it has 2 pubs near to this, getting sleep in night is nightmare. There is option for long stays and very much affordable stays in the heart of Bristol."
"Excellent value, lively little community. The staff were really friendly. The practical bits were standard but well thought through e.g. the fridges have trays in and everyone who is staying had their own tray so you definitely have some space in the fridge for bits that won't get nicked. Free tea, coffee and hot chocolate and a couple of tv's with a vast selection of dvds!"
"So before you book here here are the things to know: Bad- Mice!! Noisy street all night Rooms boiling Very run down Not very clean Good- Cheap Friendly and helpful staff that go above and beyond Great location People from all over. Beds are comfy. It is very run down. Practically falling apart. I had a hard time deciding between 3 and 4 stars since the staff are so wonderful and helpful. The place is so run down but at the end of the day it is safe and cheap and central. Overall good."
