"Excellent location for a central stay. Standard room was spacious and bed was comfortable. Bathroom was big and included a bathtub. Room was well cleaned and my stay was quiet. The desk is also big enough to complete any work on a business trip. Decor was indeed outdated, however it had a charm to it and did not look bad (Reminded me of 90s hotels). Staff was friendly and check-in was quick, even though there were quite a lot of tourists that day. Breakfast was very reasonable. Bus stop is very close and shopping centre as well. Car parking was expensive, however this was expected for the location. Worth a stay."
"Excellent location despite the constant sirens, however the rooms are old fashioned even the upgraded ones - deluxe rooms. The service was excellent and staff were very friendly. There was no swimming pool (falsely advertised on the site due to it being under construction). The terrace is nothing like in the photograph also due to construction. Very expensive menu for food/drinks, also rooms are expensive."
"We attended an award ceremony here a couple of weeks ago. The lobby area was a bit small and very crowded but the overall hotel itself is not too bad. The ballroom that the ceremony was held in was spacious and wheelchair accessible. The only concerns I had, was that there were no ramps leading to the stage or hand rails for people to hold on to when walking up or down off the stage. The lighting wasn’t that good either. I believe that both the hotel and the event organisers have a duty of care to everyone that is attending. They should ensure that the event is safe, accessible and can be enjoyed by all regardless of their ability/disability."
"Stayed 2 weeks ago with my partner who has a service dog and said it was fine. Signed a form which I asked what I was signing stated it’s just for us smoking and we can be fined if we are smoking in the room signed it Following day had a call from front desk saying a smoke alarm has gone off as we have been smoking in the room advised we haven’t went down to speak about this was met with manager who was very strict to me and treating me like a child Second day went to check out was advised we would need to pay £250.00 for the smoking as a fine which never took place and £150.00 for having a service dog which if we didn’t have and my partner had a seizure we would of needed to call a ambulance, looked in to this and doing this for a person with a disability and making us pay for something which is needed is wrong A further £200.00 was added to the bill as house keeping stated the dog did his business in the hotel when we was taking him out every few hours and no incident occurred stated I will not be paying and after a lengthy discussion with manager he agreed to waive fee Will not be returning to this hotel under any means if you have a form of disability be advised you may be chargerd for needing animals which are needed for your health so stay away"
