"This is an excellent hotel, with helpful and attentive staff. It is ideally situated for you to walk to all of Bath's many (many) attractions. It is exceptionally clean, and the rooms are of a decent side. Highly recommended. However, there are a few issues. (1) The hotel charged £20.00/day to park. (2) We paid £19.00 for a coffee and a gin, a tad dear. BTW they have a table in the restaurant that sits in the shadow of a full size model horse. Extraordinary."
"Excellent Hotel in the most perfect central location in Bath. I've walked past this hotel for absolutely years. Though had never been inside until this week. I asked if the hotel was open to non residents & was very pleased to discover that it was. I like drinking quality fine red wine. The wine list had an intensive good selection of excellent fine wines of all varieties. Paul, the barman was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines that they sold. He was extremely helpful & friendly. The wine that I chose was a Louis Jadot 2020. An excellent choice, rich & full of flavour. Very good value for money. I've paid more money & received less alcohol in the Harvey Nichols bar in Bristol. All the staff were friendly, the service I received was impeccable. Although I wasn't a resident. I was made to feel at home. I'll definitely visit again. I highly recommend this hotel. If I could give this hotel 10 stars ⭐ I would."
"My room was spacious, clean and airy. The AC was great. In all I had a comfortable stay and slept well. The staff were friendly and helpful. I didn't use any of the hotel facilities on my stay but I give 5 stars for a good room and great location."
"A nice clean hotel. Homely and very attentive staff. Take care with the breakfast though because the front desk will encourage you to take the very nice full, but piggy, breakfast at £17.50. They won't tell you that if you wait to see the menu in the morning you'll see that the continental breakfast is available at lower cost."
"Very professional, good service, clean room although cars driving passed during the night and seagulls in the early hours did wake me up with the windows closed. We decided to have the breakfast in the morning which was lovely however the staff were very pushy about payment, and gave us the bill before we’d even started eating and then went to get the card machine before we had even finished. We then we’re asked AGAIN on the way out of the breakfast room if we had paid by another member of staff, all polite but the repetitiveness of this part ruined the breakfast, that would make me not eat in your restaurant in future."
