"I dont write reviews but im doing this to help people and say thankyou, i tried 111 and the doctors route because i thought i was going blind and they didnt even ring me back! When i was told they would. I didnt take the chance i got a lift to this hospital because i was told its the best place to go in the area and it really is! Thankyou. So proffesional kind caring and supportive i felt so welcome from start to finsih helped me find my way home all you have to do is ask. seen very quickly and put my mind at rest and it couldnt have been any better the lady on reception was kind and caring and the lady who tested my eyes really made my day so much better and done her very best to explain everything what i needed to know and how to move forward. Thankyou so much. I went away feeling gratefull. You really are exceptional at your jobs from the cafe workers to the nurses and doctors they told me to go straight back if i ever need to. if your worried or somethings not right dont wait three years like me go to this hospital and they will do everything they can to help you. "Amazing service in Eye Hospital a&e today. Speedy, friendly and extremely thorough. Nurse Practitioner Jane, orthoptist Melanie and a female doctor whose name I don't remember we're all amazing, as were the various staff who conducted tests and the reception staff. Super impressive, thank you."
"I went to A&E with an urgent eye problem. I was treated by lovely nurses, doctors and other staff who were all polite, caring and helpful. I even left with a booklet about my condition. What a wonderful facility we have in Bristol."
"Start to finish I was in A&E on a Tuesday afternoon for 2 hours 30 minutes. I saw a few nurses and two doctors and everyone was lovely and made the whole experience really easy and reassuring. Problem was found and drops given straight away. Something to be aware of: you might not be able to drive home because of the eye drops so make alternative arrangements."
