"In my opinion dentists are very good however they are more interested in money than providing the excellent service they could offer. I wanted to align a specific tooth to the others as it was moving backwards and taking the opportunity, once braces were fitted on, to do other minor adjustments. During the assessment the orthodontist took time to explain me the options available and ensure me that the amount of money I was going to pay was not related to time, it could have taken 6 months or a year for my teeth to align. Unfortunately, he mistakenly move the tooth too upfront but I thought it would not be a big deal as braces can be readjusted to move it back and align it. Once I finished paying the instalments the orthodontist told me his job was done and when I pointed out I was not happy because the tooth that was the main reason for me to be there, was not that different from when I first had braces put on, he said that to him it all looked fine and there was nothing more left to do and he suddenly was in a rush and didn't have time anymore to answer question. However, after reiterating I was not happy with the care provided, he told me I could have book an appointment within the clinic and there would have been the option to align my teeth perfectly, obviously paying again thousands of pounds. Very unprofessional, I believe that because they could not work due to Covid for a while they were trying to discharge as many people as possible to make space for new patients/money. Again, they prioritise money over providing a good service. Also, I did book over the years few appointments with the hygienist. There is a high turnover as every time I went there was a new person. I always thought it was a bit rushed and not too accurate, plus each situation is different, how can they work with a standard set of time? Last time I had my appointment I told the hygienist that due to having had a brace for a year there was a little stain on a tooth that I wanted removed. She acknowledged the stain and after the treatment she sent me home without mentioning anything and once I looked at the mirror I found out the stain was still there. Again, very unprofessional. When complained to reception, I was given a complementary 15 minutes. The price of a 30 min appointment is way too expensive for what you receive. I believe there is a lot of potential in this clinic however everything feels rushed and because their treatments are quite expensive, I would expect such a higher service than the one I have personally received."

"I contacted Queen Square Clinic after my NHS Dentist removed my front tooth ready for an implant and then never called me back to arrange the implant fitting (he said I was ‘high risk' for complications due to a high smile line and diabetes in my family, so I guess he was extremely nervous which didn’t fill me with confidence!). Safe to say that after 4 months of not having a front tooth and many ignored calls, I was at wits end when I called Queen Square for help. Choosing Alfonso and his team was the best decision I ever made. They immediately made me feel at ease and presented me with a plan to getting a tooth again. Over the past 10 months, I have felt cared for at every appointment and at ease with every decision thanks to Alfonso’s professionalism and expertise. I always felt like my options were explained without bias and that I was in full control of my choice of treatment. After being told I was “high risk” by my NHS dentist, I doubted ever having a front tooth again, let alone having an even better smile than before - but here we are! All thanks to Alfonso and his wonderful team. Never thought I would say this about a Dentist, but I will actually miss the team! Grazie!!"
