"Poor customer service. Ordered three personalised stockings and the one meant for my son looked nothing like the other two I had ordered despite ordering the same item with different characters on it. The one they sent me was extremely poor quality. Emailed them straight away and got a quick reply stating they would send a replacement in time for Christmas - this didn't happen. Emailed back and forth from December through to April the next year and still nothing. I've now had to try find another company to match the stockings we have. Extremely disappointed as this is a local business that I would've liked to support."
"Ordered with this shop through their Amazon store, honestly can't fault them. I ordered a personality baby blanket, delivery was fast and the product quality is beautiful. I had a great experience shopping with this store."
"Fantastic service. Quality stocking lovely just as expected. Soft, right size, nicely finished embroidered name. Bought last minute as couldn't go where our things were. Estimated delivery was after Christmas yet this was picked, personalised and delivered in time for Christmas Eve. We assume Christmas such orders prioritised and thank you for your thoughtfulness. Made our two year old very happy"
"Perfect gift for my friend's new baby. The bunny is soft and the glitter lettering is fabulous. It all came beautifully packaged in a pink gift box. Highly recommended. If you have an unusual named newborn, this is just perfect."
"Wow - where do I start. If there was a phrase such as ‘the customer is always wrong’ then this would apply to the rudest person I think I’ve ever spoken to. I ordered a present for my friend’s birthday only to be told that it had been returned because apparently the address doesn’t exist - that is simple untrue. In fairness - this issue is with Royal Mail and not Hoolaroo. But trying to get to the bottom of the issue felt like I was being attacked from start to finish. We went back and forth about 20 times on email - not getting any closer to a resolution when she asked to call. Fair enough. And then promptly started to tell me how all the issues were somehow my fault. I had changed the address - yes - which she agreed to. I had suggested she might want to think about a different courier service as initially she told me that the reason for the return was no one home and followed on to say there have been issues with RM leaving cards. Agree with that as I’ve experienced it since. However, we rapidly descended into a blame game rather than trying to address the issue. She told me she would not change the courier because of one failed delivery, but by her own admission the RM lack of leaving a card was a recurring issue. When I tried to point out that it was she who had informed me of the issue, she spoke over me and tried to argue a point that was inaccurate and not relevant. I tried to calm the whole conversation down by explaining it was an emotional purchase trying to do something nice for my good friend after a difficult year, and that understood that issue lay with RM and not her, but no - she wanted to argue about the address being wrong even though it was not - and admitted she’d checked it online. The whole debate made no sense whatsoever. She wanted me to pay for the delivery again - how does that make sense? I pointed out that she could not guarantee the same thing would not happen again. I said I would be happy to pay extra for a different courier, but no - she clearly just wanted to be right and me wrong. Literally the worse experience I’ve ever had as a customer. It was rather upsetting and I am still shocked by the whole experience."
