"Anytime I've used maxis the drivers have been brilliant. They're all very chatty and pleasant. They have plenty of cars on the road so you're not waiting too long and if you do happen to phone to check where your taxi is, they keep you up to date exactly where your car is. Great firm."

"Fair prices, clean taxis and friendly drivers, but the wait times are atrocious, the app allows you to book a taxi, yet you still need to wait sometimes 30mins for the booked taxi. Just being told either on the app or on the phone they are busy and will get one asap does not help. There has to be a system that allows a customer to know they can get a reliable service so they can get to meetings and appointments on time."

"Pre booked service, the night before. After waiting 10 minutes after booked time, I called the office only to be told they were still assigning a driver. Hopeless service if you need to catch a train, plane etc. Never again."

"The last few times I’ve used United they’ve often not turned up. When I’ve contacted them they’ve either not answered or said “5 mins it’ll be there” & it’s still not arrived. If United don’t have taxis available they should tell customers that rather than accepting bookings which they then don’t fulfill. I know many others who’ve had a similar experience. Poor show from a once reliable taxi provider."
