"Shocking. Booked a family pick up on Xmas day. Arrived on time. We then stacked the boot with presents as we loaded car with 2 children, 2 adults and 1 small dog. Driver then got out said he ‘can’t take a dog’, threw us out of car and tried to drive away with our property in boot of car! Only the closed gate of house stopped him leaving with out our property (but not us, as booked). Still shocked and thinking about next steps…"

"The driver arrived quickly but stopped to get petrol which put the fare up and a charge of £5.40 waiting time was added. I never tip because there is always a waiting charge even if there is no waiting and you don’t know about it until the receipt has been emailed."

"My husband booked a taxi an hour in advance for 7.15pm. At 7.15 we saw that a driver hadn’t even been assigned to our booking. We called to ask for an estimated time for the taxi but didn’t get last the first line of the conversation before the male call handler laughed loudly down the phone . His response ‘It’s a busy Friday night MATE.. doesn’t matter if you booked three weeks ago or an hour ago!’ When asked when we could expect a car his response was ‘whenever they’re a one available!’ We had booked and paid in full in advance. Taxi arrived at 7.30pm . We were late. The driver was very polite and friendly . The guy who took the phone call should attend some course on customer relations. Incredibly rude , condescending and arrogant. We will use another company from now on."
