"I had only just bought an item when I realised it had passed the expiry date. There were no in-date items of the same type so I was offered two smaller items of the same type or a refund which I took. Joanna refunded me as well as giving me one of the smaller items as compensation. I was impressed with the level of customer care on this occasion just as I had been a previous time when the pharmacist seemed to go out of her way to help me with the issue of providing me with a receipt for the flu jag I had booked online so that I could get a refund from my employer. She had to make a phone call but nothing was too much trouble for her. I'm not quite old enough to remember the 'golden days' of customer service although I am aware of them. I feel that it still exists in this branch of Boots from what I have seen, even if not in many other places."
"Boots is a great store, been around for many years lovely staff and plenty of choice only one but x a lot of the goods u can get in other stores cheaper x some stuff you can only get in boots . A store I do and would use but aware of what I am purchasing x"
"Not much of a chemist afficionado but since moving to Rutherglen 2 years ago have been in the store on maybe 8 occasions and on each occasion the customer is left with no clear route to a purchase or indeed a prescription, 4 or 5 staff and a suit all hiding in the pharmacists corner, tills vacant. In my experience if you look disinterested enough someone might help you by asking what you require if you do not go to the till you will soon have a few of the staff watching your every move. Today was a decent dint at the best yet with the pharmacist 2 feet away I was told he was on his lunch, by someone, he did not seem to get the rediculousness of the scenario and let it pass, I left ,no prescription"
