"When I first explored being an actor I started out at Edinburgh Acting School, taking classes. Fast forward a few years (OK, more than a few), post drama school and with more than a decade of acting experience under my belt, it has been great to come back to EAS and their Actor's Gym to keep my skills sharp and to meet fellow professionals. It's been great to have this, particularly during the pandemic and the place for a creative outlet was needed."
"I've just signed up for yet another term of the Actors' Gym at Edinburgh Acting School due to this being brilliant for inspiration, fun and skills practice, as well as learning, sharing and networking. Beautifully led, incredibly useful for CPD and new skills (including for creating own work and applying for funds), Actors Gym also includes having a great time with peers - I love it! EAS itself, which provides the Actors Gym, is clearly popular, with many people returning to their classes, and well-led, with lovely and very professionally skilled staff. Highly recommend!"
"EAS are the best! The tutors are highly professional, experienced, supportive and friendly. There are a range of Stages which cater for all levels of experience and the classes are friendly, informative and fun. There really is a family atmosphere so you feel part of a supportive group who are willing to share their knowledge and skills with you. EAS is perfect for beginners and experienced actors alike and in my view EAS offer the best acting training in Edinburgh."
"Edinburgh Acting School is a fabulous acting School here in the Scottish capital city. They run lots of different courses, from course for the complete beginner, right through to courses suitable for seasoned professionals. They have excellent tutors, all of whom are very knowledgeable, inspiring, and to honest a lot of fun! They also work very hard! Keeping the acting school going through the lockdown of 2020, via zoom, was amazing work, and much appreciated! It attracts lots of great and talented students. All the classes that I have attended have been excellent: sometimes challenging, always informative, and very often inspiring!"
"I really do love it here. The tutors really know their stuff and are really encouraging and easy to talk to if you have problems. It's competitively priced and there are different classes for every level of ability, plus the odd workshop here and there at the weekend. Also a dedicated performance group for getting experience of performing on stage. Plus the other classmates have always been lovely and accommodating to newcomers. It's also their fault that in my profile picture I look like a rejected back up dancer from a Prince Charming era Adam Ant tribute act. ;)"
