"Yesterday I attended the day bad unit for a double GI procedure. I was very anxious about it. The unit is spotlessly clean throughout and I was greeted by a lovely receptionist. Once in the daybed section I met the staff, Monica and Lauren in particular were superb at making me feel comfortable. The theatre team led by Dr Eleanor Watson were amazing. Dr Campbell, Sheila, Sarah (sorry if missed anyone) put me so much at ease. The procedure, like many, had its uncomfortable moments but with the care, reassurance and friendliness of the team it went by without causing me any issues. If I had to go again I would have no anxieties. I trust these professionals. A huge, huge thank you to all of you. Oh and superb fresh sandwich and coffee afterwards to break my 48 hour fast!"
