"The people here at UK whitegoods are so help. When i find it difficult to find a part they can usually help. The stock a large range of products. Delivery is sometimes a bit slow but that maybe out of their control. they have a very good forum which can help when you need someone to turn too for help Would always recommend them"
"Potential customers of this company would serve themselves well to read the poor reviews of ‘UK Whitegoods Ltd’ both here and on ‘Trustpilot’. They follow the same thread and the MD blames everyone but himself. He frequently calls them ‘liars’. He is rude and obnoxious. (See too Trustpilot), there are many reviews that follow the same thread. As a result of my dealing with this company (and its owner) reports have been made to ‘The Information Commissioner’s Office’ and other statutory bodies. Fixing a broken oven glass for my vulnerable pensioner mother. (The oven brand is CDA), I used ‘JustAnswer’ to locate the part. UK Whitegoods Ltd. were given the serial number and model number of the CDA appliance. They provided what was supposed to be the part. It cost my mother £119. The part was incorrect. I emailed “support” and informed them of the error. The response was essentially: (I paraphrase here) ‘you ordered a part and agreed to the terms it cannot be returned or refunded once ordered’. I disagree. It was a stock part, neither fabricated by ‘UK Whitegoods Ltd’, nor ordered from a third party supplier. It turned out that the emails were coming from Kenneth Watt who cockily announced he was the MD of ‘UK WhiteGoods’. The tone of Mr Watt’s initial email was confrontational and adversarial. The following emails only degenerated, he was clearly getting riled. For the sake of £119 for a stock item (which I would have happily paid a restocking fee and covered the postage myself), I felt I was left with no other option than to initiate litigation against Mr Watt as the MD if UK WhiteGoods. The matter has now been handed to a ‘no win no fee’ specialist recovery firm who have accepted the matter (02/10/22). A simple search of the .uk.gov website & Companies House will reveal directorial details, including the MD’s registered address. Linkedin is also a good resource. All of the ‘one star’ reviews here or on ‘Google Reviews’ regarding terrible customer service of UK White Goods Ltd. and consistently supplying the wrong or inferior quality replacement components and parts seem to follow in the same vein. I warn anyone who uses this company to be aware that if their Managing Director is willing to publish personal information appertaining to customers or their transactions as retaliation for bad reveiws, both here and on 'Google Reviews', then it is a damning indictment of the way their business is conducted. Any other unhappy customers of UK White Goods who require support with their issues, then please don’t hesitate to contact me. It’s clear UK WhiteGoods Ltd rely heavily on their website and e-commerce backend, it doesn’t not appear to be to much of a customer facing or client focussed business. PS: As UK WhiteGoods Ltd. have attempted more than once to have my ‘Trustpilot’ review stricken, evidential photographs have now been submitted to Trustpilot directly. This review’s continued publication is indicative of its integrity and reflects a genuine customer experience! The response on Trustpilot by ‘UK White Goods Ltd’ to that review is testament to the grossly unprofessional manner in which the company conducts its business. I advise potential customers to read Trustpilot’s published ‘Company activity’ for UK WhiteGoods, the statistics speak for themselves."
"I am about to write to Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy for this so-called spare part trader! He's selling fake parts manufactured of plastic even toys are stronger and designed with better care. UK consumers deserve better than this man...."
"My hotpoint washing broke down suddenly. I called their engineer who gave me advise over the phone and then came out to have a look. Unfortunately my 12 year washing machine had run out of life lines. I decided to get another one. White goods guy went to his shop, got the best machine they had and came and and fitted it for me for a very reasonable price. Thank you"
"I'm so impressed with this company. I needed a replacement shelf for a second-hand fridge. UK Whitegoods supplied the item at less than half the price the manufacturer asked, and charged £2.95 carriage while the manufacturer wanted £10. The shelf was well wrapped, with cardboard not plastic, and arrived quickly. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again if I needed to."
