"Went for a family members birthday lunch today. Staff were welcoming, lovely comfortable dining area. We all had the Cozy lunch deal from the menu. Our waitress Georgie was very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for her. The food was good and enjoyed by all. Thank you Georgie for serving us with a smile."
"I've photographed a few weddings at The Huntsman Inn so far. What a fantastic location for a wedding, surrounded by beautiful, far reaching countryside. The venue itself is a country pub, with a spacious function room attached. The function room has large windows letting in lots of light, and there's also a private outside space that wedding parties can use. There's plenty of options on site for photographs, as well as 5 minutes down the road with epic views. The food is great (tried and tested!) and they have options for vegans as well. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The weddings I've photographed have always run smoothly, and the wedding coordinator (I've worked with Melissa before) is great at keeping everyone informed. "We visited the Huntsman this weekend for a family wedding and had an excellent visit. What stood out to us was the exceptional service we received throughout from checking in to breakfast the next morning. Staff went above and beyond to make sure we were enjoying our visit. The rooms were lovely - very well done up, clean and had plenty of space. The venue itself is beautiful with fantastic views and a great outdoor patio area with fairy lights. The party was a catered buffet and we stayed for breakfast the next morning - both of which were delicious. Would definitely recommend!"
"Can't comment on the room as we only visited for Sunday lunch but it was decent. The starters and main course were very nice. Staff always kept checking on drinks and the waiter kept the little ones in check with making jokes with them. Only slight gripe was the Yorkshire pudding was a little crispy and I personally prefer them slightly softer. Will definitely return without doubt!"
