"AVOID LIVING HERE Do not buy neither rent in those buildings…. Beside the fact that they look nice … there is a constant and very strong an disturbing noise between the walls that doesnt let you be in peace… for the price to rent or buy it is not worthy! I dislike so very much!!! It’s a nightmare - The trash is simply left on the floor because the refuse chutes are frequently broken too. - The heating system is not working properly, you will need to be ready to pay high bills. - £4K+/month for the rent is too much for the mediocre infrastructure provided."
"Avoid living here. The building's infrastructure is absolute joke: - There are significant water, internet, or electricity outages every other week. - The lifts are frequently broken. - The trash is simply left on the floor because the refuse chutes are frequently broken too. - The heating system is not working properly, you will need to be ready to pay high bills. - £4K+/month for the rent is too much for the mediocre infrastructure provided. The SQP concierge team is friendly and helpful though."
"Overall, this building is for someone who would choose form over substance, very picturesque interiors with absolutely no value for your money. + Great location + Concierge team is helpful and nice + Nice-looking design - The infrastructure of the building is just complete rubbish, every other week there is some widespread outage of electricity or water, the fancy-looking refuse chute is not working half of the times, the intercom tablet fell out of the wall on the second week of living there, the heating barely works, I could go on.. - The management company just doesn't seem like they can handle things, they can't clean half of the windows for 1.5 years already, which results in residents having to enjoy all those nice views through seagull-sh**-stained windows (literally)"
"We moved into our apartment in March 2021 and since then our windows remain dirty. No one cleaned them during 1.5 years, even after multiple complaints. House rules meanwhile prohibit the cleaning to be performed by tenants and not professionals hired by the management company. Refuse chutes do not work half of the time, so residents have to store rubbish in the room near the lifts (which is not very hygienic, in my opinion). Heating was not working properly during winter - money was deducted from the account with enormous speed and temperature raised 1-2 degrees max (apparently, by design heating works towards 21 degrees max - which becomes effectively much lower if the weather outside is 5 degrees). Can’t even imagine what it would look like this year when energy prices went up. Otherwise very nice place to live but the circumstances above really spoil the experience. Everyone is very apologetic regarding all these issues but that’s it. UPDATE 4 months after this review, some of our windows are still dirty (they are moving vertically, not horizontally, so one side of our apartment is still not cleaned), plus we experience some kind of outage every other week (today it is electricity and water - lifts are not working, no water in the apartments at all) - everyone is still very apologetic about it"
"Avoiding living here, avoid Berkeley, and avoid POD Management. There is a burning chemical toxic smell coming from the restaurant below. They are refusing to investigate this properly or offer any suitable fixes. The refuse chutes are constantly broken so rubbish is just left on the floor. The windows are never cleaned and they do not allow people to clean it themselves. There is a huge crack in the spa area and nothing is being done to repair it."
