"Good location, friendly staff, really cheap for services they provide, clean rooms with breakfast included. Recommending"
"Really very basic. Bathroom was clean. Kitchen is very old and I don’t recommend using it on your own. Breakfast is very basic and when there are several guests, not large enough to seat them all. Walls and floors are super thin, which is not nice with loud neighbours"
"Didn't even stay after seeing the state of the room. I get its cheap for London, but my god. The whole building stank of paint and the floor the ceiling window in the room was jammed open by the bed. The glass in the window was cracked and so was the wall. Wouldn't have paid £5 to stay there. Left immediately and stayed elsewhere."
"The location is great, however frankly that’s the only advantage of the place. There’s little to no water pressure in the upstair bathrooms, nor warm water. The breakfast consisted of toast, butter and jam.. everyday. Although, these weren’t the biggest issues as we got BEDBUGS! The staff claimed to clean and sterilize our rooms after our complaints, however they only changed the bedsheets. Several of us got bedbug bites during our stay. DO NOT RECOMMEND"
"Stayed here for a week with my class. A lot better than expected. Friendly and helpful staff, ideal location (three museums, a supermarket, and an underground station within 5 minutes of walking distance). Owners evidently care about hygiene, immediately sterilizing all of our beds when one of my classmates developed a rash while sleeping. However, the rooms we stayed in were fairly cramped (3 bunk beds per room and a single fridge and TV set to share) and the infrastructure leaves things to be desired: there were plumbing issues, meaning there was no cold water on the ground floor, and there's no elevator, which made carrying the luggage of my classmates to the fourth floor that much more difficult. Overall, if you need affordable shelter for a large group of people who don't mind sharing fridges and bathrooms and who don't have a lot of luggage, this hostel should get the job done just fine."
