"Great location in a quiet neighborhood close to the tube. Very clean rooms, but incredibly small with no water pressure in the bathroom. Overall a bit overpriced. Be careful to only post reviews after you leave or you will literally be accosted in the middle of the reception by the manager to confront you; the initial review would have been 3 stars."

"We took the double room, it was very good. The room is very clean, the beds are comfortable and the toilet are good. Although there is no place to charge the phone near the bed. And the water pressure in the shower wasn't very strong. The hotel is located 6 minutes away from the tube (Baker Street) and it placed in very quiet neighborhood. There are many stores and restaurants around."

"Our stay was for two nights with a party of five in three rooms. There is lift to help with bags and this old rustic hotel is just gorgeous, squeaking floorboards and all. It really feels like London. The included breakfast in the cute little basement restaurant is simple but good. The beds are really comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. It is not a new flash hotel but really beautiful in its own way."

"Great Location - perfect for central London. Slightly eccentric layout of rooms, but it is an old building and this adds to the charm. Rooms need updating, but they are clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was excellent, dining room very clean and pleasant. All staff were unfailingly polite and cheerful A great place to stay!"

"A lovely little hotel at a super price considering it’s location. I stayed in room 304 which had USB sockets (very handy), a huge comfortable bed, desk, two chairs, coffee table and A/C. I was made to feel really welcome which just isn’t something you get at larger hotels. I didn’t get time to go into the bar and had to skip the breakfast as I was in a rush but will definitely get stuck in next time. Highly recommended and an unbeatable price point."
