Reviews of Travelodge London Central Elephant and Castle
"I have rated this hotel highly based on the room we were given on the 10th floor overlooking the city. We had beautiful views. Room was clean. Reception gave me a handful of complimentary herbal teas as I do not drink English breakfast tea or coffee. Only criticism is we had to pay extra for early check in as the hotel does not offer a luggage hold and we did not want to carry bags around London. The room was already ready but we still had to pay the additional. Overall, great stay. Great location."
"We stayed here for one night for my nephews birthday. On arrival we were met by the lovely Raj, the Deputy Manager. Check in wasn’t til 3 but we agreed to pay a small fee for early check in. Raj kindly upgraded us to a family room with a beautiful view and also gave the kids some chocolates. He even offered to put the birthday banners in the room whilst we went shopping. Summary - great hotel; spacious and clean, friendly staff and a short distance to the nearest tube stop and shops and restaurants."
"The hotel was in a great location for a night out in Ministry of Sound. It was a modern looking hotel, tucked away around the corner. I had a room overlooking the train track. It was lucky for us when we were staying, that there was a train strike, so I can't comment on the noise you'd hear potentially from that. My only concern in the room was during the night I could still hear music from Mos. The hotel was very clean from the outside and throughout. The staff on reception were friendly when checking us in and when we had any other encounters with them. Overall, Great location if you are going out for a night in MOS, it's not a far walk from the tube station and I would feel safe to walk it."
"Exactly as expected. Decent size room with comfortable bed. Quiet during the night which is not always the case with London hotels. Breakfast was good apart from the coffee which tasted watery. Handy location with good bus connections."
"Location; excellent for exploring London Hotel Rooms; Family room was excellent on floor 9. Great views via the full wall of windows. Clean and tidy, tea / coffee, option for new towels daily. Hotel Facilities; Breakfast had a good selection and represented value for a family. Dinner was a very bad experience, went to order dinner on Friday and told the kitchen has no food left. Disappointing. Note there are very few restaurants beside the hotel and as we stayed a weekend they were fully booked. In summary very good hotel and I would stay again however caution making dinner arrangements as cannot rely on hotel."
