"This letting agents are pure bullies. Please if you are young and looking for a tenancy look elsewhere. They will con you out of money and then threaten you with eviction when you complain about the lack of maintainence on any of there properties. They charged my daughter £500 for a door that was broke and a worktop that had a burn mark ok it. My joiner cousin said this should be no more than £200 supplied and fitted. They also threatened my daughter with eviction nervous times for complaining. The refused to do any maintainence. Faulty bathroom tap. Faulty bathroom fan. No cooker. WiFi didn't work. Communal Dryer didn't work. Now they think they can threaten me over a £50 debt that they have charged my daughter. AVOID AT ALL COSTS."

"Previously we had used five estate agents some were slightly better than others but none of them were ticking all the boxes what they should have been doing to sell our house. We decided to leave it for a year . We viewed a house through Rooftop, Elliott contacted us and we decided to sell the house with Rooftop. Elliott did an excellent job he came round with the photographer he even moved 45 years worth of postcards out of our spare room he moved furniture he transformed the room. He was in contact most days for the first couple of weeks then at least once a week after. The photographs were great we sold the house within 9 days. Elliott gave gave my husband and I excellent support he rang you straight back or if he was out he would ring you before he went home. We would never got through the process without Elliott. "Do not use this letting agency!!!! They lie about their charges and have overcharged our daughter by over £200 We have emailed & rung them several times only to be told that the person dealing with us is in a meeting, not available or at another office......really, for this amount of time???? I think not!! Getting the house was bad enough. We were told the landlord had accepted our daughter a few days after seeing the property so thought it would be a quick process.....how silly of us!!! First Rooftops lost our money, how I don't know as it was done by a bank transfer. Then they lost paperwork. Then, again, the person dealing with our daughter was away, at another office etc etc. Nobody seemed to know what was happening & when. Nothing seemed to happen unless we rung to check things were happening. It took nearly 6 weeks after being told she was accepted for the house to actually getting the keys!!! The house was advertised as having free WiFi & all bills included. We were told this was wrong & accepted their apologies.......but even now they are falsely advertising a house on their website. The advert states that the house has free WiFi and all bills included & its not true. We were thinking of investing in a buy to let property but no way will we even consider a Rooftops property. It wouldn't be worth the dress or hassle. This agency will con you out of your money and lie to you, just like they have us. Be warned."

"Avoid by all means. Unfortunately there is no Negative rating. I was planning to rent a house with them after viewing it with the landlord. We agreed on a certain day as I was starting a new job and I gave a notice to my previous landlord. After I paid the highly exaggerated fees, I kept calling every few days with no progress at all. Also, I had to get my references. Due to lack of progress, I cancelled the idea and decided to rent through professionals. They have refused to pay the fees back. NEVER THINK TO GO THERE."
