"I booked an apartment through AirBnB and the apartments were riddled with issues. Day 1 of the stay the door leading out in the corridor was unable to turn and open rendering myself and my guest stuck in the room for 30-45 mins. The turning part of the door was just spinning. Informed PLUXA who was very quick in giving me a solution on how to fix it. This issue arose before to previous guests but not properly fixed. Just temporary fixes until the next panic attack suffered from a guest. In a real emergency the guest would have been locked in without any way to exit. I had to turn a screw with first aid kit scissors to get the lock to work. Day 2 of the stay the electricity was out upon my return and no explainable reason was given. Fuses were all in the up position yet the electricity was off. Just told by PLUXA to move to another apartment. Day 4 after being given an alternative accommodation by PLUXA we thought the issue above was over and something of the past. It happened again. The same issue. No electricity when I returned from outside with all fuses in the up position. The reason for both occasions was unpaid electricity bills which I found out on my own with the help of the building concierge. Pluxa attempted to tell me it was out their scope of power but this was untrue It is absolutely infuriating and really disappointing after paying almost £1000 for 9 nights to have this sort of experience. Absolutely disgusting. The upside to my stay was eventually I got a senior member of staff to speak to myself and offer 2 nights compensation and a late check out. Their response time was fairly quick which was helpful but the issues that arose were too great to ignore."

"I'm really happy with Said Ali, who was very friendly and fixed the issue with the sink and the loose thing in the bathroom really fast and gave me some helpful information as well. We are staying in the Mint Apartments, the sink in the kitchen was leaking and the shower handle was loose. All fixed now. Thanks."

"My family spent 11 nights at Pluxa’s City Escape Apartment on Edward St, Birmingham and we had a pleasant stay The apartment was exactly as portrayed in pictures on Booking.com - neat, reasonably spacious, well furnished and all the facilities worked. The location, close to the city centre, was very accessible and convenient Few improvement points - 1. Inadequate signage makes the building difficult for first timers (including taxi drivers) to find 2. Would be nice to have had an inventory of property in the apartment especially as a few minor repairs were required before our arrival - but none of that detracted from the overall positive experience we had We definitely plan on coming back"
