"Our room was amazing with superb views from our window, it was very clean and warm. The staff were so welcoming and could not have been more accommodating for us as it was my husbands 60th birthday (the staff on duty on the Friday 3rd were brilliant, they sang happy birthday and were so attentive). We stayed for tea both nights, warm log fire on in the dining area and great choice of food. Both the staff at breakfast and dinner were fabulous! Juniper was our server on our last night and she was such a credit to your organisation. Our server at breakfast was also amazing but sadly we forgot to ask for her name. The hotel is set in a fabulous location, with fabulous walks and outstanding scenery right on the doorstep."

"From start to finish the facilities and all the staff at The Fox House we’re amazing. They couldn’t do enough for us and we felt very well taken care of during our stay. Despite our car breaking down and needing to stay an additional night at the last minute. We were welcomed back into the hotel very late at night. Thank you for making a stressful situation that little bit easier. Breakfast was thoroughly enjoyed every morning, highly recommend the English breakfast. Local, high quality ingredients cooked to our liking. We had calamari followed by pork belly for our evening meal and it was delicious. We will definitely be returning and would highly recommend our family and friends to The Fox House Inn. Very clean, comfortable, secure and really friendly staff."

"Friendly, welcoming and helpful staff. Warm room on arrival, spacious and clean. Comfortable bed, nice bedding and tea and coffee facilities. Better lighting on outside door. Trash bins had not been emptied ( think she just forgot)."

"Having eaten at the restaurant many times over many years we had been looking to stay over at some point however room availability was a struggle due to popularity however on this occasion and for our wedding anniversary I managed to grab a room at very short notice. It has to be said that the stay over did not disappoint, the room was excellent (although some of the room 'neighbours' were a little noisy but that's not a negative for the Fox House) and the breakfast the following morning was top notch. We had hoped to book a room for the in-laws for their golden anniversary in December however no room availability (although we have booked a table for close family evening meal)."
