"The Edinboro Castle, 8.9/10 You want a beer garden in Camden, do you? Do you want the best beer garden in Camden? Do you? Are you sure? Well, look no further. You've found it. Just round the corner from Regents Park, you'll find what looks like a small blue pub. Hmm. I thought those northlondonpints lads said this was the best beer garden in Camden. Well hold on there. Never judge a pub by its front. Unless you're in South London. Then judge it on whatever you want. It'll still be terrible. Once you walk through the small tardis-like interior, you are teleported to an absolute Sahara Desert of a beer garden. The inside is like Tyrion Lannister, the outside is like The Mountain. Inside is like Jerry, outside is like Tom. Inside R2-D2, outside Chewbacca. You get it? It's a biggun. Despite it being a summery place, these lot still know how to handle a Guinness. Top tier. Premier League. Rolls Royce. Crème de la crème. Literally. Our waitress in here was having a tough go at it all. The garden was absolutely heaving, and she was trying to do multiple things at once. Respect to her. One of our orders did get a bit delayed. How come the ratings so high then, you ask? Well, she greeted us with a free round to make up for it. Heads up any other pub that wants a high score. There's a big hint as to how to get a good rating from us. Maybe without the waiting part. Reviewed 09/06/21 on @northlondonpints Instagram."
"This is a great pub. It used to be our local many years ago and returning here it was good to see it was as welcoming and comfortable as ever. We didn't try any food on this occasion although it did look good. Bar staff were helpful and efficient, the cocktails went down well and it's good to see they've added a couple of non-intrusive TVs as well if you do want to catch up on the sport in the background. One of our favourite pubs in the area."
"Nice ambiance at the outdoor bit but the food wasn’t great and too expensive for what you get. The sticky toffee was definitely not sticky toffee pudding…"
"Really nice pub with excellent outdoor space. Plenty of room for us on a Sunday evening even though we were walk ins. The food is very decent pub grub and not at extortionate prices for the area. There is still an option to order everything through the app which made things really easy. Staff were very friendly and helpful."
"Good big beer garden and decent size inside. Can't go to the bar to order...table service like almost everywhere now. Have to order through a QR code on the menu. Pretty quick service mostly considering how busy it was but they had a load of staff on that day for the football. We didn't book a table but turned up early and managed to nab a booth. Decent selection of food and drink too."
