Hand in Hand
“This is definitely one of my favourite pubs in the Wimbledon area, it’s so nice in the summer months and nice and cozy inside in the winter. Being part of the Youngs pubs in the area I’m surprised they have so many, and they survive, but I’m glad to say they are surviving. They always have a nice selection of beers, today we had a proper local ale the “Wimbledon Brewery Pale Ale” which is such a great local brewery. They had a nice warm fire burning, but due to our timing we needed to sit out side and they have a great out door area. I can’t comment on what the food is like at present, but historically I have always felt satisfied, but like all the youngs pubs in the area, especially compared to my locals it is slightly punchy. For example 3 beers and a pint of Diet Coke came to £21 I’ve included a picture of the toilets as a lot can be said about a pubs toilets, and these were nice and clean and well maintained. Our only gripe is that the glasses were a little dirty, it looked like the dishwasher filter needed changing. Not enough to complain about and embarrass ourselves. It looked like lemon or lime fragments, which I’m not so precious I had to take my pint back and complain about.”
The Hand in Hand
“Nice friendly bar, clean and warm. Bar man is nice and whilst they don't serve food, you can order and eat in the place, no problem”
The Bird in Hand
“Great pub with a good atmosphere within easy reach of local stations. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, the service is always excellent. The drinks are well priced and most sports are shown here which is a big plus! I definitely recommend for a couple of drinks on a match day.”
Innkeeper's Collection Dulwich, London
“We arrived well after the latest check in time and received a warm welcome. The staff were great, room was nice and the pub was excellent.”
India India Restaurant & Bar | Best Pubs in Holborn, Central London
“have been to The India Best of the City Indian Restaurant many times, bringing different friends. We have always loved our knowledge. It has been recommended to me by a member of an Indian family and I can confirm that the food is truly authentic to that of India. I felt like I was back home. I would definitely recommend it. Many thanks to the dear staff working there. We'll be back soon:)”
Half Moon Inn Accommodation in Woking

Fulham Tavern - Restaurant, Bar, Pub in Fulham
“Sara & Douglas have created a beautiful restaurant atmosphere at Locale. They were amazing with allergies and when I learnt the reason why I was even more touched. From the bar staff, waiters and chef they are so polite. I really enjoyed my meal there. A go to place to dine in Fulham and always thinks of the local community. I was very honoured when Sara kindly offered her venue to us for free to host a social and networking night for business and local residents for the benefit for the community.”
London Hospital Tavern
“Lovely vibe since the management changed. The team seem like a family which makes the environment feel so welcoming. Good prices and a cracking pub quiz!”
Holiday Inn Express London - Hammersmith
“Excellent 1 nights stay. Great location close to tube stations and on a road with many shops, bars and restaurants. Service Excellent. Rooms spacious, comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast. Have stayed here twice and will definitely stay again.”
Ye Olde London
“I’ve walked past this pub for many years but had never visited until today. To be honest its name and proximity to St Paul’s Cathedral put me off, as I wrongly assumed that it was a tourist place. Really friendly staff and welcoming atmosphere. A much bigger space downstairs although closed on a quiet January afternoon. Loved the huge wooden balustrades that dominate the street level bar area. A Greene King pub but I was happy to find Timothy Taylor Landlord on draught. Even a garden out back - a rarity in The City of London. A hidden gem in plain sight!”
The Hawke Pub
“Great local pub with a nicely understated and welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food too. Will be back for the roast!!!”
The Hop Inn Micropub
“As you maybe aware I’m a big foodie who loves dining out in the finest of restaurants. But when it comes to choosing wine we either go for the countries that we know or we leave it to the recommendations of the sommeliers. So with this in mind we wanted to broaden our horizons let’s say by learning more about wine in general ie taste , smell , tannins , acidity etc. with the additional knowledge of knowing what wine wine is good value for money and which style of wine goes with which style of food. So we gave it some thought and approached our good friend and drinks expert Alison Taffs at the Hop Inn Hornchurch our local micro pub to see what she thought and because it was only going to be the two of us if it would be worth her while. But after a little chat we discussed a budget so it would make her time and effort worthwhile. We gave her a couple of weeks to put together a format and gather some wines to taste and talk about. This led us to sunday when our tasting would take place. We arrived at the Hop Inn and our table was laid out in the corner. You could see straight away that Alison had put a lot of effort into this to which we were very grateful. She had laid out tasting note sheets , an iPad screen displaying various information and a list of the six wines we would be tasting. She decided that we should keep the discussion to european wines and in particular Portugal , France , Austria & Germany. Her knowledge was incredible as she guided us through the different stages of tasting wine. This begins with appearance which will include the colour. This is followed by smell , condition , intensity and the character. Then it’s time to taste to find out if the wine is sweet or dry as well as how much acidity , length , body and tannins. To finish you would decide what type of food you would match the wine with. We followed this by talking about pricing and what wines from specific regions when you look at a wine list are good value for money. This information really was invaluable and will certainly help us in the future. We’d personally like to thank Alison for a fabulous wine tasting afternoon. To listen to her knowledge and passion really was a pleasure and we definitely got more out of this than we first thought. I would highly recommend if your interested in wine to arrange a session yourselves whether your a couple like us or a larger group you will certainly benefit from her vast experience in the industry. We’re certainly looking forward to booking another session with her soon”
Le Chapeau Cloche
“This place is AMAZING!! Florentin oozes passion and talent. He cared so much about my hair and listened to everything I would like to have achieved. Can't recommend this place enough, everything about it is amazing. There is a lovely bar and secret garden too”
Bermondsey Bierkeller
“Super great food and service! The environment was great! The ribs were absolutely amazing, so tender and the fries were great!”
The Mitre
“A fine traditional pub with an excellent range of real ales and cider. Cosy atmosphere, proper fire and friendly dog. Landlord happy to discuss beer choices, aiming for a range of beer styles and from outside London. Worth seeking out - it's hard to find and has limited opening hours.”
The Radius Arms - Micropub Free House
“Always a warm welcome from Vincent and excellent beers. A great place to be with friends.”
Little Green Dragon
“Micro pub on the edge of Winchmore Hill. Has half a dozen cask beers on plus the same with keg beers. Cask is served from gravity, presumably the venue doesn't have a cellar but the beers are always kept very well. Richard and the rest of the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Regulars are great and will make you feel very welcome. It's easily the best pub in the area.”
The Cotton Mill Micro Pub
“Titanic Plum porter. Superb. Great staff and fog friendly. Didn't want to leave !!!”
Old House
“A friendly, off-the beaten track local pub, serving great ales direct from the cask. Very traditional interior, and the locals are engaged in funny conversations and banter. This was a great pit stop on our long walk. I think this was how all pubs used to be - a genuine meeting place rather than somewhere to extract money out of you - I hope it never changes!”
The Penny Farthing Micro-Pub
“This is such a nice place to go. Friendly staff. A very good range of local beers and ciders. They serve a range of spirits now as well. Cocktails galore. Well worth a visit.”
Tap Sidcup
“So impressed with this little pub!! I’ve driven past loads and felt like it deserved a visit. It’s less ‘micropub’ and more ‘classy bar’ vibes. Great music and amazing selection of drinks. They actually have taps on the tables with iPads where you can fill up your own cocktails or beers, what a super concept! The decor is sublime as it gives the impression you are in a holiday destination rather than in a pub in Blackfen. The icing on the cake was when I went to the ladies. Never have I ever been in an establishment where sanitary products, perfume and hair spray are provided, without the looky looky lady! I’ll definitely be returning. Thank you”
The Peasant's Revolt Micropub
“Great selection of constantly changing beers, both draught and in cans - as well as a great selection of spirits and ciders. All served by friendly and helpful staff - a gem of a pub!”
Growler Stop Tap Room Dartford
“Went to the Growler stop for first time last night. Great, helpful and pleasant staff. Lovely welcoming atmosphere. Very extensive beer menu that the staff will help you with. We sampled quite a few across the range, pale ales, ipa’s, bitters and stouts and they were all lovely. We will be returning and next time our wives said they’ll come with us and sample their gins :-)”
Jacks Off Licence
“Hands down the best offie around. Incredibly diverse selection of beers from the UK and abroad, with plenty of wine and spirits to choose from too. The only thing they could improve would be their chilled selection: their fridges aren't huge and they don't often vary what they put in them.”
British Tours
“We had a phenomenal tour with a knowledgeable guide who efficiently shared large segments of London with us. I highly recommend.”
Hair of the dog
“Our Goldie Willow looked amazing after her trip to Hair of the Dog, and loved her Christmassy experience! Thank you!”
El Rancho De Lalo
“Followed the high rating to this place for my first meal in London. I arrived at midday to a nearly empty restaurant but it wasn’t long before people started packing it in. My Columbian friend back home recommended my menu choices and I wasn’t disappointed. A highlight was the fried banana and beans. The dessert was surprisingly nice too! I had: 1x FRIJOLES CON CHICHARRÓN 2x LULO 1x AREQUIPE CON QUESO Highly recommended :)”
