"Had a tooth removed 2 weeks ago. Expected some pain, but the pain levels afterward were ridiculous. Contacted surgery told this was normal. Noted a white mark on the inside of my gum. Contacted them again was told again its not a problem. The white mark became sharp, it was a 1 cm piece of jawbone that has now punched through and the pain is unbelievable. They offered me an appointment in a weeks time, I am seeing a dentist in the wirral next week instead. What business allows a private paying customer to spend 2 weeks in agony after a procedure ( I paid 250 altogether). One can almost imagine the smugness of the reception staff rebuffing me when calling. Do not use this dentist."

"Not usually one to write a review but feel I owed it to future patients who may visit this practice. I had an emergency appointment at this clinic as I was experiencing pain which turned out to be an abscess. After spending 5 minutes with the dentist who done an X-ray and confirmed I did in fact have an abscess, I was told that all my top teeth would need to be taken out! As you can imagine I was absolutely distraught but the dentist told me she wouldn’t discuss this with me as it was an emergency appointment and that was to deal with the abscess. (The whole time she was talking to me she had her back turned and was typing away at her computer.) Thank god for the dental nurse who gave me tissues and tried to console me. I was prescribed antibiotics and told to book back in and we would talk about it then. I came in to the reception area where I tried to book an appointment but was told I couldn’t be seen until another 4 weeks!!!! Not even a follow up appointment to check the abscess had gone. When I returned home in a complete state I decided that I would get a second opinion. I went to a different dentist the following day who was so much more compassionate and understanding that at the age of 34 I didn’t want dentures. He carried out some more X-rays and done a thorough check off all my teeth and gums. He then told me I didn’t need all my top teeth out but in fact needed root canal treatment and new veneers. I will not be returning to this practice and strongly advise anybody who is going or has been here to get a second opinion."
