Howdens - Southgate

"I'm in trade for a long time but definitely wouldn't use this branch anymore. I went to Howdens in Southgate early in the morning to get some kitchen items for 15-20 minutes before they opened and waited until just before 7.30 am. and asked if I could get in as I was rushed to the job. The two guys were smiling and laughing and showed me to the opening timetable. As a trader who works closely with Howdens from fitting their kitchens in the showrooms across the branches to spending lots of money through my customers, I felt disgusting attitude from them despite Howdens work with trades and should understand that the traders time is priceless. Definitely no more purchases from this branch!"

"Now there was nothing smooth about the delivery of my kitchen, it came on two different dates despite having booked and paid two weeks in advance - no one informed me that the whole kitchen wouldn't be delivered on the day I'd booked for it to come, and I had to phone up to find out that information. Several items were delivered damaged and had to be swapped. I also ended up having to send several items back on my own dime. However, despite all this, call me a mad woman but I'd still order another kitchen from Howdens because a) my kitchen looks phenomenal, b) it was cheaper than wren/magnet, c) it came much quicker than other companies d) the customer service I received from Jaber was beyond superb and Chris was super helpful processing my return. The only thing that has stopped me from leaving a one star review is the customer service and the fact in the end after the hiccups, I do have a kitchen that I am very very happy with."

"I phoned but they were busy. However, Doulla called me back shortly after as they had caller ID and must have seen my missed call, Brilliant service. She answered all my questions and sent me a quote. I have also spoken with Paul and Chris. They have all been friendly, really helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Even the delivery guy who came today went out of his way to help. Thank you guys."
