"I bought a hob in April by mid August the pcb board had broken it took 2 weeks to get an engineer who came on the 30th August and said he would order a new board. Today is October the 2nd and I'm still waiting for the hob to be fixed so avoid this company at all cost"
"Worst customer service!!!!!! Please avoid this company!!!! I bought the induction hob and the right side doesn't work. I called on Monday (28th October) in Gorenje repairs center and they advised me that this is an electrical - installation fault, I call electrician same day (off course paid for it), and he assured me that everything is perfect with installation, the same evening I called back and the lady said, that she can't found my appliances on the system ( what a joke?). Tuesday (29th October) call back again, and then one gentleman books me in with engineer on this Thursday (31st October). I took the day off, was sitting at home and 9 am I received a phone call from contractors (engineer) and they advised me that they not coming because only now they received paperwork from Gorenje and they decided that they need to get a new part. I have to wait for another 2 - 5 working days for the part to arrive and then they could book me in again. Still waiting for there reply. Gorenje refusing to pay my electrician bill (but they advised me to do that). Living without hob second week with a little one at home!!! Disaster!!"
"Just purchased a Gorenje product and trying to get in touch with Gorenje to ask some questions on their confusing installation manual whihc leaves most things to your own imagination. Keep getting directed to a 3rd party company not able to help and not able to provide a contact number for Gorenje them selves. I have talked to an online person who could not help and spoken to 3-4 people on varisous telephone numbers, none who could help!! There are parts and symbols in the installation manual without any description or references !? I am suddenly not sure I have bought a product which I want, it should not be this hard to get in contact with the manufacturer or somewho who could help with their products !!!! UPDATE: For two weeks I have attempted to get information for this part. the third party company (Gorenje Spare parts) asks for an ART number I have supplied this. But, they say numbers are missing wihle I assure them that this is the number on the Appliance, the Warranty card, the box for the appliance the actual Gorenjes web page and therefore they are not able to help as the appliance could have had a slight tweak ??! I havbe also provided the full model number, the Type number and the serial number none of whihc can help. depite providing them the part number they cannot even tell me what exactly this part includes (recirculation kit for a cooker hood) does it include a duct and the carbon/charcoal filter or do you still need to buy the filter in addition to this part (the filter by the way is more than half the price of the cooked hood!!!) I have never ever had this much hassle to get a part for any appliances and have tried multiple other brands. BE WARN when dealing with Gorenje and needing a part."
"Purchased my fridge freezer mainly because of the design and colour. One of my internal freezer draws snapped off with a slight crack . Having approached gorenje service team and being told I'd have to purchase one I asked for the complaint to be escalated. After a month and reminder emails from myself they have refused to replace the item as the draw is not covered by the warranty ! My first issue with this is that not one person asked how the draw broke. My second issue is the lengthy time it took the service team to respond. It's a case of tough luck buy another and go away . Kathryn who is a customer service manager is particularly unhelpful A very uncaring flippant service team. This will be my 1st and last purchase from this company."
"Gorenjie was recommended by our kitchen designer who now admits that he will not be doing so in the future. We had a fridge freezer go down with a compressor problem mid February 2018 and it is still not repaired/ replaced and it is the 13th April! Unhelpful and abrupt customer service who were not sure if they were replacing compressor or fridge but a fridge has been delivered outside a week ago. Alas they can only fit at their own convenience. No apology received , and they expect the customer to chase sub-contracted engineers who frankly are not interested. Disappointing and no surprise that most have not heard of the brand.....what do they expect?"
