"very helpful.and friendly staff they also offer free lovely coffee and buns made at the shop"
"We bought £13300 worth of items from Miele. We put them in storage for a while after they arrived (3-4 months) as our builders weren't ready for them. When we opened the hob, there was a huge crack in the glass. The box and the polystyrene encasing the hob were intact so it wasn't possible for the damage to have occurred after delivery. Admittedly we should have checked the hob when it first arrived but still the manufacturer clearly packaged and shipped an item with a huge crack in it. We called Miele who are discounting the repair a little bit (depending on how long it takes might be as much as 35% off), but this falls well short of what we would expect from Miele. Miele made an appointment to send someone to repair the device (2 weeks on from when I called). I took a day off work, during the one hour window where the technician was due to arrive he called me to cancel the appointment saying it will be rescheduled. Waiting for that."
"Today I had the pleasure of having Amy showing myself and my husband several appliances in their Miele Experience Centre. I have to say that Amy was very welcoming and personable from the moment we stepped through the doors. I feel that she has simplified our shopping experience with Miele and really displayed all the reasons why Miele are so outstanding. I am very informed on the appliances I now need and feel safe in the knowledge that should I need any more assistance, Amy will be there. Thanks ever so much!"
"Really poor customer service - booked a vacuum service and there were delays, no updates and eventually I got my vacuum sent back to me (with no notice). When it arrived back with me, it was dirty, filters not replaced as promised and badly packaged. Really disappointed. God forbid anything goes wrong with this appliance again as I don’t want to deal with the customer service again. And I won’t be buying more Miele products until they sort out their customer service. Not even worth one star"
"It's a lovely shop, but the after sales service is appalling. I thought that buying 'the best' would mean value for money but after spending over £1000 on a coffee machine (CM6150) it broke after only 3 years use (only 2 adults in our house and we maintained it assiduously with Miele only products). Customer Services gave us different confused messages and implied that it was our fault for not maintaining the machine. Only Miele can fix the machine as general technicians cannot get the parts. We even wrote to the Chief Executive. It turned out that 3 parts were completely broken and Miele offered to fix it at a discount for just under £300. We thought this was throwing good money after bad. The sales line 'tested for 20 years use' does not mean anything at all as they do not back it up with a guarantee. I'm buying Sage or Gaggia next time as I now know from friends that they are far more reliable and easier to fix. I have a 20 year old Miele vacuum which is excellent and still going, but clearly their quality has fallen considerably in recent times."
