"Love this pub, the staff are so lovely! I pop in here on a regular basis, everyone is so welcoming and the food is spectacular! The fire is always roaring and a great range of drinks, this is my dogs fave spot! He pulls on the lead to go in! They’ve also just added a games console, which is a real laugh!!"

"Been at the Duke of York for two nights Martin the new owner is very welcoming and great with his customers. The hotel rooms are spotless and facilities are great. Pub has an open fire and the customers are friendly it just feels like we have been drinking here for years. We will be back."
