Reviews
"Food was great, price isn't bad. Service great. Unfortunately I booked a table for 5 adults with no children. For some bizarre reason we was seated right on the edge of the family area. We were constantly plagued with young children running around and screaming loudly. I understand everyone is entitled to enjoy themselves but why sit a table of only adults so close to the family area. Bits of food and a fork under the table from the previous diners. The food portions are very good for the price"
"Popped in for a drink, staff were lovely and service was very quick. I ordered while my friend put the car details in and I double checked with the lady serving that we'd done it right...16 days later a fine came through the door for £60! We were there for 24 minutes!! I contacted the pub the day the fine came through and spoke with Ben who was lovely and sorted the issue out. Couldn't ask for anything more :)"
"Not great experience this time. Not only food was delayed by 1.10h, but The Great American Sizzler came with the burned vegetables. Waitress tried to insist since it is sizzler vegs has to be fried. Yes, fried, but not burned! Vegs were impossible to eat, ate just half of what we've ordered as kids and us drank quite a lot to keep the hunger at the bay. 1.10h serving time is outrageous, pub was not busy at all, and with it being Thursday it was very disappointing experience. Came to celebrate child's birthday, instead very hungry and angry. Definitely won't be back!"
"Nearly didn't visit here due to bad reviews saying how busy and noisy it was, but it was quiet when I visited on a Saturday morning between 9 and 10 for a full English breakfast which was nicely cooked and extremely tasty. Noisy kids are only to be expected sometimes as there is a Whacky Warehouse next door, but it was quiet when I visited. Some people also complained about parking charge on reviews, but it is free to customers, and well signed outside and inside. Type in you reg number and parking is free. Two full English breakfasts and two coffees for under £12.00 is great. Visited three weeks later between 9 and 10 9n a Sunday morning. Still good hot food at good value. Polite staff (served by Rebecca) and good atmosphere with noisy kids. Despite other reviews on about noisy kids and poorly cooked food, on our two visits we have found the exact opposite. Great food, great staff, relaxed atmosphere."
"Waited well over an hour for the food to arrive! Husband didn't enjoy his ranch chicken and left some, which is unusual! My steak was tough. The girl came over to ask if everything was alright and as I was replying to her, she just walked off! Just as we were getting up to leave we were approached by someone else, so we explained everything and she was more understanding. We were offered a dessert but didn't take up the offer."
