"The food is hit and miss, sometimes good and other times bad. For example the aubergine was really hard and chewy from our last order. The delivery is also always late or sometimes the order is missed completely. Ordered again tonight and waited 2 hours and still no food and the guy on the phone hung up on us twice when we called to ask where it is. The food isn’t good enough to put up with such rubbish service."

"Really fantastic place to eat and then Egan dishes are amazing. I went there to get a takeaway and was not disappointed! The madras was flavourful and was a good spice to it too. My partner chose the veg biryani and it was really tasty. I ordered a aloo potato as well with mushroom rice. Next time we will stay in the restaurant to eat as it has a very relaxed atmosphere and a nice bar too. I found the staff to be very helpful a d friendly too."

"Surprisingly shocked by this Indian. I have lived in Debden for about a year, and always thought Café Bengal looked “okay”. Tonight we ventured in as they had put up a new sign that better suits the place. The food was perfect, the staff were friendly - honestly couldn’t fault a thing. Great for anyone - families or couples. Certainly recommended by me!"
