Roman Bath Private Hire

● Closed
10 Windrush Close, Bath BA2 1PL, United Kingdom

“I booked with Craig two days with a private driver. I had never been to Bath and there was a lot I wanted to see. The driver/guide, Peter was very knowledgable and even suggested places to stop in addition to what was on my list. I feel I got a great start in getting to know Bath and Somerset, even extended my original two days to four. He's the best!”

In and Beyond Bath

● Closed
York Street, Bath BA1 1LY, United Kingdom

“We did the Hidden Cotswolds tour and it was AWESOME. We didn't want to rent a car but still wanted to visit the Cotswolds and this was an excellent choice. Jules was a fabulous host and guide, very knowledgeable about medieval English history and how we ended up with the UK of today. Highly, highly recommend.”

Bath Walking Tours

● Open
Bath BA1 1LY, United Kingdom

“The tour was wonderful. I got to see the most important features of the city (the sunny day was an unpaid actor) but the best part was our guide, Jim. Jim was extremely nice from beginning to end and showed his knowledge of the city and its history. His storytelling skills were high profile! What's more, he kept the explaining although the guide time had finished and he gave us a few extra minutes to finish. He pointed us to a place to eat and did the same to everyone who asked. I absolutely recommend it.”

Savouring Bath

● Closed
Bath BA1 1NW, United Kingdom

“Whilst visiting Bath on our honeymoon Savouring Bath Guilty Pleasures Tour was a great introduction to the hidden treasures of the food and drink scene, most of which we never would have discovered without them. Tour guides Mike and Ed were great hosts, very knowledgeable, friendly with with all the businesses and answered all our questions however off topic they were. We loved all the locations and business’s we visited. Upgrading to the celebration package was well worth it too.”

“We had the most amazing 2 hours of fun and knowledge with Paul after booking his Bridgerton Walking tour. He is a walking guide books of not only bath and Bridgerton and lots of things we learnt along these way especially how bath came to be. A 2 hour walk sounds long but he made it such fun with quizzes. very knowledgeable mans that we throughly enjoyed his company . This is a new venture for Paul and if you want the more personalised version then Paul Is you man! Thank you again we enjoyed every story and seen your acting, your wasted. Well done and thanks again xxx”

Bath Ghost Tours

● Open
Abbey Churchyard, Bath BA1 1LT, United Kingdom

“This tour was an informative and entertaining mix of history, sightseeing, and paranormal story telling. Mrs Cruncher was dramatic, very entertaining, and mindful of everyone's well-being on the tour. That said, I highly recommend they remove the lynching example from the tour. It's too recent and realistic an example compared to the thumbscrews and duel examples that some people could actually have some family history with lynching.”

Galahad Tours

● Closed
Pickwick Road, Corsham SN13 9BL, United Kingdom

“My family and I took the tour of the Cotswolds, and it could not have been better! Matthias is incredibly knowledgeable and is an engaging storyteller! It was looking like it might rain in the afternoon on our tour, and Matthias went ahead and booked a reservation at a pub so we would have a backup plan! He was very thoughtful and planned a wonderful day for us! I would strongly recommend a trip with him!”

River Adventures Ltd

● Closed
Bath BA1 2FJ, United Kingdom

“Very accommodating staff, who went out of their way to help us as we had issues with our car on the way down to Bath. Really went the extra mile as that wasn't any of their problems, but they still helped out and ease our stress. Would certainly book with River Adventures for a boat trip again in the future when we return to Bath!”

“Super wooden play structures in the play areas for children. Basketball shooters for older children. Tennis courts also. Large sand pit area with water pump and a wooden castle climbing structure for younger children. Great to have a Wessex Water free water refill for your bottles. Still get a wave from the train drivers while you wait on the bridge for the trains coming into Bath. The wonderful canal bridge just a bit further on. A lovely park for families.”

Pulteney Cruisers

● Closed
Pulteney weir, Bathwick, Bath BA2 4AT, United Kingdom

“Enjoyed a Pulteney Cruise in Bath Sunday 24th July. 2 boats are available (I forget their names), our had a forward seating area on the lower deck. Boarding is on the bank opposite Parade Gardens, the jetty steps are beside Beazer Garden Maze. Flat rate 2 adult fares, no concessions. Greeted by 2 members of staff and their dog we set off down the River Avon. An overhead PA system is used to give a historical and naturalistic tour of television river as you wend your way out of the city. Beneath Pulteney Bridge, past a boat house and out into the fields beyond. On our visit we didn't see the famed Otters but I did see a Heron and a very vibrant Kingfisher. We made our way to the weir at Bathampton but alas there was to be no disembarkation. We stay for a few minutes listening to the torrent of water and taking in the country air. A nice break from the hectic city bustle and a worthwhile addition to a 3/4 day weekend itinerary. Small dog was lovely too.”

The Sir John Knill Boat Trips

Sydney Wharf, Bathwick, Bath BA2 4BG, United Kingdom

“What a wonderful trip out! Sam was very kind and lovely and booking the trip was so easy. We went to Claverton and back, really such a lovely way to spend time with friends whilst seeing the beautiful canal and it's inhabitants. It's definitely a boat suitable for if it's raining but we were very lucky to have a warm, sunny day. Would definitely be booking again!”
