“We had a lovely two night stay at Eaglemount. It is walking distance to the Gallery Walk, and many cafes and restaurants in the area, and very close to the local bushwalks. The room was very comfy and the bath was devine. Would definitely recommend and stay again.”

“Such a beautiful place to stay at the heart of mount tamborine closer to everything. The design and the architecture of the hotel is what attracted me. It is the best place to work and travel If you are working remotely and yet travelling and observe different places, culture and food around the city. It has a beautiful garden with a stream and so much greenary. We loved our stay there and the owner was so kind and helpful. Nice quiet less crowded place with lots of privacy and well maintained the property. Rooms had its own unique design with luxury facilities.”

“We stayed for three nights in the castle. The four poster bed was so comfortable we didn’t want to get up. The in room plunge pool, theatre style projector with surround sound, the spa bath and double shower were all first class and everything was cleaned to a very high standard. Each day’s breakfast was a lovely surprise, and tailored to suit our specific dietary requests. All the staff were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our only problem was that the room was so luxurious that we only left it to visit local restaurants for dinner. Thank you for such a wonderful break.”

“We stayed here over the Christmas holidays for 2 x nights and it was very comfortable. I'd only suggest putting the TV in front of the couch as it's above the fridge in the kitchen and it's a pretty small TV. But we managed to reshuffle all the furniture and put it back when we checked out. They deliver firewood to your room each afternoon and the bird life is fantastic, lots of birds! It was also great to see the two black horses in the paddock from our balcony and seeing the lady ride them each afternoon, a real treat away from city life.”

“The view is amazing. Love mornings here, brunches.. food is good. They have vegetarian options. Would be happy if the place is kept a bit more clean. Also we saw a staff mop the floor and then clean the table with same mop. That's not acceptable. Hope the staff follows a bit more stricter hygiene”

“Just a quick stay but can’t fault the tall trees hotel at all, it had everything I needed. Check in was super easy, the room was comfortable, bed was warm and the complimentary food and beverage items were a very nice touch and the location is amazing. All in all a great stay.”

“You could not enjoy a delicious meal and a an ice cold beverage at a more spectacular place with a view. The hotel motel is just such a great place all round. The staff there are very warm and welcoming,polite and very happy to answer any questions you may have about the surrounding area. Great food and very decent price and a great menu to cater for all ages. Great indoor and easy visible kids entertainment area with lots to keep them busy. Outdoor eating and drinking areas where you can sit and enjoy the spectacular view from different aspects and the garden area and all of the the surroundings of the building are kept immaculate.”

“This place is gorgeous. Annie and Tom are the nicest hosts. The camping spots are beautifully maintained with a portaloo, fire pit and table and chairs. Lots of trees and grassy areas. The swimming area is so nice; that water is so refreshing. My doggie loved it too.”

“We had a meal tonight at Beared Dragon inside by the fire. We'd heard less that positive comments about this venue however, our experience was really good. The food was tasty, with big portions and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Will definitely go back. Also, check out their t-shirts.......a great statement!!!!”

“Gorgeous grounds! Multiple sites for weddings including a chapel, grotto, smaller hall by the grotto, a larger hall with a dancefloor and a chapel with a beautiful fountain as well as a pavilion with LOVE all lit up with a gorgeous little footbridge nearby. Photo ops galore! Really worth going in person for a look. This place is perfect for a low key smaller and more intimate wedding. They also have 4 studio cabins if you are interested in staying overnight. Pics of the room attached, more pics of the grounds to come.”

“This has to be one of the best places to stay in Queensland! From the moment you book, you can rest assured everything will be taken care of. Judy and Lawry are two of the nicest people you will meet (the owners of the beautiful Verandah Country Estate) and they do everything possible to ensure you have an amazing stay. Your stay begins by driving through lovely country style gates accompanied by stunning gardens and you can see the Verandah house and front of some of the suites. From here you are greeted and shown to your suite. Judy and Lawrence have done an exceptional job designing these beautiful rooms, where you can feel relaxed and fresh. Breakfasts are something from heaven (see photos online) and you’ll find it hard to go back to cereal! The views are unobstructed and they have a hot tub to sit in and watch the sunset/sunrise. There is a communal fire pit (extra to the ones in the rooms) which you can use and toast marshmallows (included in the kitchen). The gardens are immaculate, and you’ll feel completely away from everything if you stay here. We can’t recommend Verandah country estate enough, and we will return + recommend it and Judy/Lawrence to all of our friends. All the extra personal touches you could ever want from a relaxing stay will be met here, you feel as though you’re part of their family as they’re always there to help, but never in the way and you’ll have complete privacy. Cancel that boring standard accomodation you’ve booked and try Verandah Country Estates, promise you won’t regret it!”

“New owners Rowena and Glenn are lovely. Rowena went the extra mile when she found out I was not feeling well, she dropped a herbal tea off to me to calm my stomach.. very comfortable and amazing views! Very close to hiking and lovely cafes and restaurants. Will definitely be back!”

The host, Ingrid and James, welcomed us with warm apple pie, then she continuously surprised us with her home baked bread for breakfast! Everything was just perfect! The cottages are being sold off, the chief they're had has retired (no more unforgettable breakfasts) & I really don't know how it's going to work in the future... If at all.... But anyway.... “Kay was such a caring and beautiful host. Nothing was too much. She had the fire in the lounge room going for us to enjoy after we went out for dinner, complimentary port, every night she brought little chocolate treats to us. She was more than happy to help out with local knowledge about where to go and what to do. The rooms were beautiful and we even arrived with the heater on to maximise our comfort. Very happy and will be back again for sure.”
