“Such a great hidden gem!! I did my very first bungee jump at this park whilst on my holiday. The staff were great and so helpful! One of the craziest experiences of my life!! I loved it so much I had to do it again with my partner! Would 100% recommend the bungee!”

Cabins have always been immaculate upon arrival & comfortable. Would highly recommended this place for a family break. The kids have a variety of things to do to keep them entertained.”

“Well worth the visit. Lots of historical photos on display. Volunteers wandering around are very knowledgable with any questions asked. Museum is over three floors. Use the steps or lift. Small gift shop on ground floor. There is a fee to enter. Adults $16 Concession $12. There is a family ticket but can't recall how much it is. Lovely verandah at top to sit a while.”

“Beautiful place to bring the family for a picnic. Lots of shade areas, kids water park on the board walk. Man made inland beach, huge skate park, so much to do to keep you entertained for the whole day.”

“Great for walking the dog follow path to the right to enjoy the Esplanade 2km walk to town or to the left towards the airport. Theres a soccor field for training. Sunrise or sunset is just lovely.”

“My grandsons loved it. They got to play mini golf, play in one of the best playgrounds in the region and have a swim. Everything in one location. Fantastic place. So beautiful! Definitely worth the drive from Cairns city. The boys want to go back tomorrow!”

“Fantastic BBQs, clean picnic tables, well-lit at night and big wide paths make this park one of the best ones in Far North Queensland. We came for an evening BBQ and we’re surprised at how clean everything was! It was also very quiet. We were the only people there. Highly recommended if you want somewhere peaceful.”

“Literally right on the beach, and right in the centre of Palm Cove. We stayed in a variety of rooms over a week (booked late, so could not get a continuous booking). Service is very high standard. Even though the rooms are not new, they were all fully functional and quite suitable for our needs.”

“I worked through Helpx at the wild zoo in Daintree for 3 wks in 2012. The team I worked with were all great people the house was big and airy and clean the food was excellent even if a little past its best by. The animals all were well fed and plenty of space for them to roam. we worked half days for lodging and food which we prepared ourselves and there was plenty of it. The owners were great but being bosses they got us doing what ever was needed done. If you go there be prepared to do your part for your keep. If you dont want to work go somewhere else. Loved it. I'd go back any day.”
