Daintree Wild Zoo
● Closed“I worked through Helpx at the wild zoo in Daintree for 3 wks in 2012. The team I worked with were all great people the house was big and airy and clean the food was excellent even if a little past its best by. The animals all were well fed and plenty of space for them to roam. we worked half days for lodging and food which we prepared ourselves and there was plenty of it. The owners were great but being bosses they got us doing what ever was needed done. If you go there be prepared to do your part for your keep. If you dont want to work go somewhere else. Loved it. I'd go back any day.”
