“They have great coffees, and the food is great, as well. I've never been disappointed with anything here, and I've had plenty of items off the menu. Beyond the coffee and food, they have wonderful fresh squeezed juices that are a sure fire way to kick start your. The staff members provide impeccable service and always share smiles and laughs. Everything about this place is amazing which brings me to frequent often. I highly recommend to visit here.”

“A little bit of Paris in the heart of Varsity Lakes . A good selection of cakes & tarts with their Almond Croissant a standout treat . I could see some breakfasts brought out for other customers that seemed to be exceptionaly presented & and good size . Coffee was a 7 out of 10 & good selection of tea . Tables & chairs inside (airconed)& a couple on the footpath . Prices were very reasonable & not over priced for sure . We will certainly come back again.”

“It was an absolute pleasure to live at Varsity Apartments on Main for two years. The buildings and grounds are immaculate, it is excellently managed by Adam and Rachel, the staff are lovely and go above and beyond to assist you with anything you may need. Everything runs smoothly and efficiently, it is not a noisy apartment block (thanks to management) and it is always spotless. If I am ever back in the area and looking for somewhere to stay or move back into, Varsity Apartments on Main will be my first choice.”

“It is a Gold Coast institution for a reason. I like to go try new places but when I come back here I’m not sure why I go trying anywhere else. Coffee and service are always on point and the food is unique with fresh ingredients. I had the stracciatella toast. The flavours were unique and worked well together. The nudja was probably the spiciest I’ve ever had and I’ll be feeling it for days to come but that’s my own fault; I’m sure there is a less spicy option I could have gone with. Also some Michelle Branch playing in the background, what a Sunday morning vibe!”

“We have been coming here for years as it's our local pub and it has improved vastly since its establishment. The new options and rotating menu always please especially recently. I had the full rack of ribs when I went last and it was fall off the bone goodness. If you like your ribs saucy I would recommend getting some extra on the side as there was just enough to coat the ribs and nothing more. I enjoy myself every time I come here and the staff are always so welcoming.”

“Great little carvery with all the roast meats, gravy and roast vegetables you could want. I tried a roast pork and gravy roll and it was prepared super fast and was delicious. It was my first time eating here and I will be back to try some other things on the menu.”

“I find the below review by Annie to be completely laughable, as Paul is by far the nicest building manager I've ever had the fortune of meeting! Several times my housemate and I breached body corporate bylaws and Paul was more than accommodating and always sought the best solution for us. To imply that Paul is anything less than a complete gentleman is beyond ridiculous. The apartments are maintained fantastically and its always a joy to exit my apartment and get the scent of lemongrass (cleaning product used by the cleaner). While I'm not aware of her living arrangements, I've never seen any reason to doubt her abilities or if she has a conflict of interests. All in all, don't take my word for it. Come and meet Paul. 5 minutes is all you need and you can form your own opinion.”

Great location, walking distance to Uni and shops. All of neighbours have been very respectful and friendly. We loved living there, and will miss our little unit.”
