“We love our morning coffee from caffe aurora, it’s a great blend and almost always made well. We have probably purchased well over 60 coffees since we found them and can count on one hand the number of times it was too hot or not warm enough so I think that’s pretty impressive for a small cafe that has a drive thru. I also can’t forget to mention the people that work there. They always greet you with a smile and great conversation.”

Still one of my favourite cafes on the north shore :-) ***** This is the best little cafe within 10-20km radius of Brendale. No doubt!! Sam (the owner) pours her heart and soul into her product and it shows. All the staff that work there are friendly and all help with the baking and preparing of fresh foods. This cafe also boasts a lovely range of fresh salads, freshly baked goods and proud large muffins that usually sit boldly on the front counter. They also offer cooked foods, all made fresh and food quality. I have never had a disappointing meal there ever. The ambiance is indie, but quite clean and stylish. Their coffee is certainly enjoyed by many, and is good quality and professionally made. Please support this cafe. The Boiler Room has a faithful community of followers but I don’t think enough people know about this cafe. I am positive that you will enjoy the delicious food and treats! “We attended a wedding reception at My Oh My last night and it was amazing! Instead of the traditional alternate drop they organised the most amazing taste tables filled with there menu options and the wedding absolutely loved it! The hospitality was next level, staff were actively engaging the patrons and making sure everyone had drinks and asking which items to top up in the buffet as well as bringing custom meals to people. From one business owner to another your amazing establishment has everything it needs to absolutely thrive!”

“Amazing food, great atmosphere and lovely service. I highly recommend you try this place. My partner drinks pale ale, I drink sparkling wine. The beer and bird/dog sparkling where really nice. The food is exceptional. My 6 year old loved the old school pac man game and her cheese platter. Good music and located opposite Bunnings in Brendale near the car wash. So a great spot for a quick roadie with yummy food! So worth the stop!!!”

“Reason for review This is one of the best kept secrets in North Brisbane. It’s a lovely, but small coffee roasting business right in the middle of an industrial area. HOW MANY TIMES HAVE I BEEN? - Too many to count in past 7 years since I discovered this gem! OUR EXPERIENCE - We enjoy the various roast and flavours. - Always feels like a treat. - Has turned us into fussy coffee drinkers! STAFF - Usually ample staff with two skilled baristas. BEST FEATURES - Custom, cold pressed coffee in several flavours. - The quality of the milk used (dairy and soy!). - Once you have tasted their milk coffees (Dairy or Bonsoy milk) you will realise what a difference barista quality milk makes! - Consistent high quality beverages - Personable staff that are always friendly and efficient. - Fun seated arcade machine for the occasional friendly duel! TIPS - If you like your coffee hot, you’ll have to request extra hot. - Coffee roast flavours are always changing based on their current roasting batches. - Take away large holds more coffee than large mug option if you prefer a big cuppa. - Their coffee is strong. Half strength is a good option if you like medium strength coffee. LIMITATIONS - It’s not a cafe so they have food license limitation so having a snack is not an option. Occasionally simply pastries are served. Not sure if that has continued. - Mostly shared table benches which is not a big issue. - No tea options, from what I have seen. - You can purchase seperate bottles of syrup for your coffee at hope but no syrup options are available when purchasing a freshly made coffee in store. (Which I quite like) COST - $4 - $5 a cup (on average) depending on milk and size. OFFERS - Roasted coffee in bags (retail or wholesale) - Coffee speciality equipment - Sell coffee machines - Offer barista training - Small seated area (inside or outside) for drinking their coffee. - Palm sugar ATMOSPHERE - Casual, but feel decadent to be surrounded by coffee enthusiasts and their gizmos. PARKING - Parking is the biggest issue. Some short stay parking spots available. - Avoid parking in parking spaces that are reserved for other neighbouring businesses. CLEANLINESS - Always clean and presentable. - Tables are quickly cleared. “I was a regular customer 12 years ago when they were located in Newstead and my son found them at Brendale this morning. Drove straight out to get the spring rolls and yellow chicken curry. It was like going back in time, the quality and flavour still the same. SIMPLY THE BEST CURRIES. Already have orders from my work associates for lunch tomorrow. Cheers David”
