Really nice vegetarian ramen (I had the pumpkin broth special) and great service. Couldn't recommend it more highly. As a tip: definitely try the chili cauliflower wings”

“I went into Hove Place for lunch. I had the cheese platter. I asked for the Sussex Cambert and black cheddar. I was told sorry that they did not have the Cambett. I then asked for the Sussex Blue cheese instead. The Sussex Blue was so delicious. It was as good as the best Stilton cheese. I expect that I will eat there again.”

“Amazing burgers and fries. So tasty and freshly cooked in peanut oil. Choose your burger then customise as to what you want inside. 2 regular skin on fries was enough for 4 of us. Drinks are amazing as you can have Coke Fanta or Sprite with different flavours added eg cherry strawberry etc...and it's unlimited fill up. A little bit more expensive than some other burger paces but so so worth it . believe me..or try it for yourself. Would highly recommend and Definitely return.❣️”

And of course, delicious Turkish coffee. It seems more and more difficult to find real Turkish coffee these days, so I'm grateful to see it here. Made the 40 min drive worth it.”

“The restaurant was fully booked but we got squeezed in thanks to the deputy manager John. We got served by lovely and very professional waitress Sarah. All the members of staff were really nice and very friendly. The service was outstanding. Nothing was a problem. We really enjoyed our evening and once we come back to Brighton we will visit again. “Excellent food, good prices. For lunch, I would recommend the set menus as they are quite filling and you get a decent variety of items on your plate. At dinner time, the set menus may not be there but the curries are still to die for. We had both vegetarian and meat dishes; all were tasty.”

Staff friendly and food great, the portions are large, we couldn't eat it all, the side order of chip was a waste as I couldn't eat more than a couple as was so full with the chicken skewers were fabulous moist and served on a miniature table bbq, full of flavour, huge about of chicken, I would have it between 2 next time and 1 portion of there real potatoes homemade chips. Cocktails are a work of art, and a explosion of wonderful flavours to the mouth.”

The staff went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly - and were on hand throughout the planning process to answer any questions. The food was excellent and the place looked beautiful. The bar staff were helpful and friendly, and our guests had a lovely time. We couldn't recommend The Garden Bar enough as a wedding venue! An added bonus for us is they are gluten free friendly and can cook any meal as gluten free - they even fry the chips separately to avoid cross contamination. “Excellent food and brilliant service! I had the Ham Benedict on sourdough and it was just wanted I needed after a morning stroll by the sea. Beautifully presented, the ham was top quality, hollandaise sauce was yummy and the poached eggs perfect! I also had a fresh orange juice - I asked if it was possible to have some ginger and they accommodated my request without charging extra. Finally, I had a hot chocolate with coconut milk and that hit the right spot. The waiting service is excellent - very friendly, checking in at convenient time without being too annoying and seemed genuine in wanting me to enjoy my meal. Will definitely go again (this was already my second visit in 2 weeks)”

“We popped in on Sunday 6th Feb at about 4pm. Polite staff and very clean restaurant. We had a mojito cocktail, bottle of red wine, 2 starters and 2 mains. All in £63. Monika was our waitress and she was very very good. The food was hot and delicious. The restaurant had a constant stream of delivery drivers collecting orders as well as customers coming to eat in and at no stage was there any sign of panic or a drop in the level of service. Thank you Monica it was lovely.”
