“A stone's throw away from Brighton Dome, went in with a friend just before a show. Really quick service, we sat down with one of the nicest meals I've had with a while. Really nice vegetarian ramen (I had the pumpkin broth special) and great service. Couldn't recommend it more highly. As a tip: definitely try the chili cauliflower wings”

“Very good. Had the Sweet Chilli Chicken with noodles. Decent sized portion, very nice chicken, crispy coating and the sticky sauce was really good. I could taste lemongrass in the sauce which gave it to nice zingy fresh taste. The noodles were good. Staff were very friendly. Good stuff.”

“Stunningly opulent decor, food was fantastic. We had the 4 person sharing menu with a few extras, and struggled to finish every course. The food was great, expectations regarding when each course would come out were set at the start by the waitress, but they came out nicely spaced and we were not waiting long between courses. The whole staff were friendly and helpful from the doorman all the way through. Yes, it is pricey, for the whole experience and quantity and quality of the food, was fantastic.”

“I have ordered from here off Deliveroo and walked in as well. Lovely little Japanese take out place. They have prepared sushi off to the side, and hot items behind the counter. There is very little seating here, but the food is super fresh and tasty. The folks behind the counter were very nice to deal with as well!”

“First visit to Dodomi last night did not disappoint. Though we live in TW, I only found out about this place from FB and Instagram about 4 months ago. Great food, clean environment and quick service. I highly recommend the laksa. Great umami flavour with right amount of coconut milk. We also had the deluxe sushi and sashimi set. Very fresh and well presented with plenty of pickled ginger as a palate cleanser. Love it. The udon noodles had perfect texture. Thumbs up! Will definitely visit again. So good to have such a great dining experience locally.”

“Exceeded expectations. Every mouthful of the 5 dishes we ordered were delicious. Whilst influenced by Japanese cooking the flavours were sympathetically adapted to European tastes. Friendly efficient service made the whole dining experience enjoyable.”

“I got a takeaway from here. I ordered the dumplings in hot and sour soup. They had only meat dumpling options on the menu but they had no problem to give me vegetarian ones. The dish was delicious! The dumplings were filled well and melted in my mouth. The soup was both perfectly hot and sour. I ate every last drop. I will definitely return and with friends so we can try all the dishes!! It wasn’t the cheapest but is worth it.”

“We were struggling to find somewhere to eat late on a Monday night but Lin’s saved the day. There was sadly no one in the restaurant so it felt a bit awkward at first but the man in there made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The food we ordered looked and tasted very fresh and well made - overall it was good value for money. I hope more people venture in to the restaurant because it really was a lovely meal.”
