“S&G carried out our annual service where the van was sited so no hassle for us to get it to a workshop. They arrived when expected, carried out the service and changed the fluid in our heating system efficiently and discussed what was found and what needed to be done and gave us a choice of whether to do it or not. Really pleased with their work and the cost was a bit less than expected so all in all really pleased. Would not hesitate to recommend them.”

“smart paint are really good at what they do . I have had both alloy and bodywork done by them and what a fantastic job they did on both. The Car looked factory fresh on both occasions ,and you would never be able to tell of the damage beforehand . . The Owner is very helpful and the technicians are so skilled. Very Fair priced aswell especially given the level of work they do . I Will ,and have recommend smartpaint to others .should I ever need it , i will only ever go back to smart paint.”

“They fitted and balanced tyres and wheels both supplied by me, and then fitted to my car, all for £18 per wheel. A good price and very good service. They also held onto my old wheels and tyres for a week without complaint, until I could collect them. I was recommended to them by Mick at cradle Hill Motors down the road and I am glad to have discovered this good little firm. I will use them definitely in the future.”

“23rd Jan 2023 update. Just used them again. Full service and MOT plus a minor washer niggle that needed checking. Great service again from there folks. Very happy and would still recommend them. Feb 2022 Original review A rush job arose due to my own oversight. I called to arrange for the work to be done expecting it to be a few days at least. They fitted me in the same day and got me back on the road. Excellent service. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.”

“On holiday and my car wheel was at a really bad angle. Rang Alverstone Autos with the hope they could squeeze me in last minute. They couldn't be more helpful. Had a look, unfortunately the rear axle had broken. So while I was trying to enjoy some of my holiday they got it sorted on the road ready for the RAC to come. They then spoke to the bloke about the issues and all got sorted. Lovely people who couldn't be more helpful. Highly recommend.”

“Had the experience of having my van break down on me , which turned out to be faulty injectors on my van! I spoke with dave who put me at ease straightaway. Although it was an awkward job and was in the shop for a few days they brought my van back to life. Kept me informed all the time & gave me great advice . Would definitely recommend to anyone.”

“PDP installed solar panels and an iBoost water heater (uses excess solar to heat water) for us. Mark responded quickly and efficiently to our queries, both by phone and email. The work was done as detailed in the quotes, starting on the day specified and with no additional charges. The solar panel fitters Lee and Jamie fitted panels in the heat of the cloudless June day, they were friendly, and professional leaving a neat tidy installation. Henry the electrician answered my various questions and explained the system. His work was very good and he left a neat and professional looking installation of the inverter, isolators, export meter etc. I have no hesitation in recommending PDP to friends / neighbours.”

“Went for Carbon Clean and air con issues. Carbon clean made car happier especially on 2 HR journey to family. Air con diagnosis was thorough and found I've got a hole in condenser which was more than main dealer found. Back next year for Carbon Clean.”

““Goes above and beyond” I’ve been going to Steve’s Autos for years and can’t count the amount of times they have come to my rescue.From a flat battery at home to breaking down on a dual carriage way,they are always there to reassure me and to fix my car. Only recently my clutch went on a dual carriageway and I was panicking as had my toddler with me and had to work the same afternoon.I was very quickly recovered within 15 mins and given a car to use in the meantime whilst my car was being fixed. The garage had fixed my car with a new clutch within 24 hours despite it being a busy bank holiday weekend. I was so grateful and glad to be back on the road safely thanks to them. Steve always goes above and beyond and I know I can always rely on him in my hours of need.”
