“My son joined the forest school when he turned 3, and absolutely loves the setting. The staff are all super friendly and engaging with the kids. As a mum, I know my son is happy, having fun, making friends, and spending pretty much all days in the outdoors, which makes us happy too!! The activities always seem to be centred around what the children are engaging with on a given day, and a theme stems from this. Super pleased to have found this gem of a nursery and highly recommend.”

“We have been so thrilled with Each Peach since our daughter started a few months ago. The very lovely staff alleviated any concerns we had about leaving her for the first time and she settled quickly - she can't get through the door quick enough in the mornings! They provide lots of stimulating activities and plenty of outdoor play. We have also been very impressed by the flexibility of the nursery and willingness to accommodate parents' different working patterns etc. We would highly recommend!”

The service that Andy provided was flawless, keeping 25 children (and parents) entertained and interested for a full 2 hours, including the 30 minute lunch. “My 9 year old son has been attending the training sessions for nearly 10 weeks now and is loving it! It's very structured , and the kids get to learn new skills and the basics of the game. “Our little boy started Discovery when he was just under 9 months old. Being a lockdown baby, we were always worried he wouldn’t know what to make of finally spending time with other children / adults, but we needn’t have worried. He’s now 14 months old and genuinely loves coming to see the staff and his friends each day - I’m pretty certain he would stay there 24/7 if he could! He’s settled in so well and we truly have all the staff to thank for that (he definitely has a couple of favourites in Larissa and Leah!) They’ve helped him really develop his motor skills with his self-feeding and he’s come on leaps and bounds in the past couple of months. “I ordered 2 sizes of the Betsy Ivory Flower Dress based on the available size chart. They fit perfectly and quality is excellent too, very pleased. I ordered on Monday with the 3 workday delivery option, as I really needed the dresses on Thursday. One of the dresses was out of stock and expected back in store on Wednesday. Lorna was very understanding and arranged an express 24h delivery at no extra cost to me. I received the dresses right on time, thank you so much!”

“A wonderful nursery, outstanding with a blend of Montessori and other child-centred learning. They get outside in most weather which is also important to us. Our little one started at 18 months after a turbulent lockdown life and the team settled her in and eased all our fears and worries at the same time. After 4 months she now waltzes in and forgets to say bye =) Can't recommend Hopscotch Peacehaven highly enough.”

“Before choosing the Hopscotch nursery I have had a look at around 5 other nurseries in Brighton and the Hopscotch appeared to be the best! I was impressed how clean it is, how everything is well organised. The staff is extremely caring, kind, supportive and attentive to details. Every holiday parents are receiving something hand made by their kids and this creates unforgettable memories for the rest of our lives. “I feel confident sending my son to Each Peach Forest School. From day one he has formed great bonds with the nursery staff. It's lovely getting updates via the Famly app, seeing what he has been up to and how lunch and dinner has gone down. The nursery are introducing hot lunches on site from November and the menu looks amazing. It's a positive introduction and means one less thing to worry about. The space is also great and one of the main reasons I choose Each Peach, lots of great outside space, animals, veg patches but also a lovely inside space too. I really can't fault them, the staff are lovely, I feel informed about what my son is doing while there and he always comes home in happy, albeit sleepy mood!”

“What a gem of a tearoom and B&B! Mary and her husband were so hospitable throughout our two night stay. The bed was so comfy; the bathroom was modern and super clean. The breakfast was really delicious and of a high quality. We also sampled the cake and scones; again delicious. I highly recommend stopping here along the South Downs Way!”

“My son came to Hove Village after having an unsettling experience at a different nursery. The staff at hove village gave my son as many settle sessions as he needed before he stayed for the day. Every staff member was brilliant and made him feel welcome and adapted to his personal needs. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. I was always updated with photos and information about what he got up to in the day. Very sad to leave but he’s now going to school. Thank you Michela, Ivonne, Laura and the team xxx”

“We had a wonderful experience with this nursery. My little son started in the Robins room, when he was two, and then moved to the Swallow when he turned three. In both cases, he had really enjoyed his time there. The nursery offers a very friendly, warm and welcoming atmosphere, and a rich variety of stimulating activities for the children. The staff are highly qualified and genuinely care about the children. In fact, I cannot speak highly enough of the nursery staff that my son had while he was with the Swallow. They have been amazing under so many aspects, and I could see that he developed a real bond with them: they really were like a second family to him. My little boy really flourished during his time there, and I was particularly impressed by the way how the practitioners got to know each child very well, and were genuinely caring and enjoying about their progresses”

“Our daughter has just completed Year 7 in Burgess Hill Girls and she has loved every minute of it. The school environment is nurturing and positive and over the last year we have seen her grow in confidence and become more independent. The support from teachers and staff is amazing and the children benefit from smaller class sizes and a wide range of subjects taught in an engaging manner. She has developed strong friendship groups with other pupils from her classes but also from across the school. She often tells us how much she loves being here and has even mentioned missing school over the summer holidays. A lovely school, highly recommended!”

They have been encouraging with her development, listened to us for guidance on weaning etc, and always keep us updated via the app. Sending our daughter to nursery so small was very nerve wracking but the staff were excellent and now she’s 10 months, fully settled and loves going every week!”

“Would absolutely recommend. The place itself is lovely. So spacious and clean. They even have a play area for children whilst you wait which I think was such a lovely added touch. The staff were so polite, helpful and friendly and the scanning room was lovely and big, relaxing and cosy. The whole process was seamless and I would definitely go back again. I wish I had found this place sooner!”

“Can't recommend Hopscotch Portland Rd enough. My son has been there since he was 6 months old and from the very start received so much love and kindness from the staff. He surprises me so often with his learning and knowledge. My only slight grumble would be the invoicing, which I've raised a few times. A breakdown of the cost would really help parents who have to share childcare costs with another carer. That aside I'm so happy we chose this nursery. The staff are so lovely and I can't thank them enough for making my son so happy.”

“A great hidden gem! They serve great coffe and the food is delicious. Also, perfect for kids with the soft play, though book in advance on their website as they do have a limit for the soft play and this avoids disappointment!”

“A bit difficult to find from the road if you are unfamiliar with the area, but otherwise a clean and safe place for little kids to spend some time, and get their imaginations going. It is upto parents to supervise their children playing.”

“This is a typical a Lego shop and the only one at Brighton. The design is with the same theme of all the other Lego shops, with proper display of all the Lego products and fun areas for the children to try and build their dream there !!! Every Lego friend should have a visit here. Enjoy !!!!”

“This family centre has free play sessions suitable from babies to toddlers. Each session consists of different activity stations looking at different types of play and sensory stimulation. The session is free flow ending with nursery rhymes. The centre also offers cheap supplies of toothpaste, sippy cups etc. Remember to bring your own coffee and snacks as none are supplied.”

“Although a regular visitor for a beer i have not sampled the food. Went today with my son,daughter in law and 22 month old grandson. We all ate and it was fabulous. Staff were so good with my grandson and food,service and atmosphere was first class. Highly recommend it.”
