“Lovely swimming pool well managed by excellent well trained staff.”

“I like that everything is under one roof, I can gym, swim, do classes and use the steam room all for a reasonable price. Off peak is good value. I travel 2 to 3 months a year, I like that I am able to suspend my membership while I am away (for £5.00 per month). Staff are a quite young, they would benefit from a little customer care training such as acknowledging you as you leave, being more present in the gym.”

“Both my boys go here for swimming lessons. We change after one of the teachers from here covered a swim lesson at the previous swim school. The difference in teaching style was amazing, found out where she teaches (swim rite) moved my boys there, they have come on leaps and bounds since, with one of my children just about to start swimming competitively and hoping the other one will soon.”

“Interesting nature walk, lots of choice of trails and paths. Picnic tables, lots of benches to rest and take in the views. Parking charge £1.00 in honesty box so very good value morning or/afternoon ramble.”

“My pup had a fabulous stay over the New Year staying in the house and treat as one of the family, all our worries of leaving him for the first time drifted away. A great place to stay, regular updates and excellent secure facilities for exercise. 5 stars from me and Len.”

“Such a beautiful place to visit. The Hall transports you back to a bygone era, much of it instantly recognisable when/if you watch 'Gentleman Jack'. The grounds looked like they would be stunning but were covered in snow, so we didn't see them at their best, and the Folk Museum is worth a visit too.”

“Incredible day out. We took out 15 month old so that he could have a fun place to have a walk around and explore without us having to say no to touching things. Better than we could have imagined my 15 month old explored, played and had such a fun day out. He was able to get involved with lots of the exhibits. The perfect place to take a toddler and plenty to do for older kids too. Highly recommended!”

“Great mark, we have a 16 month old daughter and travel here. It's the best one in the area. The water play area made from the traditional paddling pool is great in summer. The slides and swings are for all ages. Set within a well maintained park with great grass areas. Credit to calderdale, (I'm really not there biggest fan) but this place is well looked after and maintained in the spirit of its original creators.”

“Lovely park. Had a great walk with the dogs. Walked along the footpath through the woods up into Stainland. Then back down through Stainland park and the rocks.”

“Very nice modern rooms, staff was very helpful and friendly, plenty of on site parking, whilst i was there they had 2 functions on but didn't hear them due to sound prof rooms, i will definitely stay there again and would recommend to family and friends.”

“It's a beautiful park but people are not so caring. Don't clean after their dogs. Some nasty people smoke weed around. Ignorant people throw there food waste for ducks and birds but rather mice and rats gathered around it instead. Who's responsible?”

“Having visited several Hot Tub dealers within the West Yorkshire area, Hot tub house really stood out to us... We found that the Wellis products stood out as being better quality, better looking, better features and better warranty than all the other branded products we looked at. Craig and his team are incredibly knowledgable and friendly, you want to buy from people you like, especially when it is a high value item like a hot tub. We never felt pressured to buy from them and they even provided us great advice regardless of where we might end up buying out hot tub from. I know they are at the end of the phone if I ever have any queries. The delivery and installation was also top quality and Jason and his team were very accommodating, making sure the tub was exactly where we wanted and even swapped panels round so the illuminated logo was facing the front. We have only had the tub a few days and already the whole family are enjoying it (at least once or twice a day!). We would have absolutely no hesitation recommending Hot tub house or the Wellis brand!”

“Am rating my visit 5* due to the fact, the staff was extremely welcoming & went above & beyond for mine & my friends children/new born babies. They literally couldn't do enough for us & we just want to say thank you sooo much. The food was absolutely delicious even the hot choc with cream & marshmallows. We got burgers/onion rings & the manager throw in extras for us. As we were leaving the kids got free gifts from staff. Would defo recommend & can't fault this place what so ever.”
