“I have had the good fortune to swim in this pool which is, I understand, using salt water from underground, and is one of the few pools in the country like this. Staff are really friendly and the facilities are very well run. An app which I downloaded allowed me to book and pay for my 1 hour swim in advance.”

“Always a friendly service in this coffee shop. The barista offered to top up my coffee with more hot water without me even asking. And even though they were incredibly busy, he said they would bring the porridge over to us when it was ready. The brownie was also to notch so this chain remains my favourite.”

“Had lunch at The Garden Room today on the way home from a hospital appointment where the news I received wasn't the best, our waitress Libby could see I was a bit upset and was so lovely and understanding and very kind, makes you feel just a little bit better when people are kind and take time out of their day to make you feel even a little bit better, so thank you for listening and also fantastic food and wine, highly recommend and definitely will make a return visit.”

“Great spot for family fun. Kids did ice skating and climbing walls, but there was also skiing and swimming fun to do another day. Aspen dinner was great for quick tasty food: burgers, pizza etc. Order on QR code and food arrived promptly.”

“Went recently here for a party for group of children (aged 6 and 7). The activities were absolutely fantastic, they did climbing and archery, which they all enjoyed and then we had use of the room and kitchen afterwards to serve food. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we would consider going back here for more of the activities on offer, we didn't know it existed before hand. I would recommend this place.”

“This restaurant is part of a lovely garden centre and farm shop. The food was very tasty. The savoury scones are delicious. The mushroom stroganoff baked potato was very good. They have a large selection of gorgeous cakes too. Lots of space between the tables so that you may manoeuvre easily and talk in peace. Surprising find.”

“Closing of the commonwealth games, and needed something to eat. I cant believe i found this gem. Lasagne and salad so good. The best lasagne ever, fresh and tasty home made, with a gorgeous crisp salad. It is so difficult finding good fresh homemade food to take away when working away and staying in hotels. This will now be our go to when we work in Birmingham. And! The cornflake cake is epic!”
