“My grandkids loved an afternoon spent here . My only gripe is the public toilets are away over in the car park. ( Not close ) so it was a case of lift everything, cart it all to the loos over along with two wee boys then walk back to the lagoon. Millisle would benefit from new toilets built beside the lagoon.”

“This is a fab place for young people to partake in all kinds of sport, from football to hockey to Irish Dancing. Great for a walk round the park and you can watch all the sports going on and the airfield being used which is close.”

“Lovely walk, was really surprised how big the walk actually is. There is the main "fairy tale walk" , but past it there are several paths, along a small river. Some are small hiking trails. There are also several cycling trails, and loads of signs saying: caution! where cycling trails and walking paths cross. Also at the car park there was a small cafe that was serving tea and coffee, and looked like they wer setting up BBQ too!”

“We had a great day at the Pickie Park Pumpkin Patch. It wasn't too crowded when we visited and staff are still sanitising equipment which is reassuring. My little boy loved all of it, from the train to the ducks and log flumes. And of course the Pumpkin Patch itself was a big hit. Looking forward to returning again soon.”

“Situated on the Antrim road it is handy to fill up with petrol and as there is a shop there as well you could also find drinks and snacks. This garage also has a paypoint for gas and electricity.”

“Beautiful evening for a walk in the park. Good playground area for kids. Geese swans and ducks to see for birdwatchers. Lovely stroll around the 2 lakes. Lots of families out tonight. Just be careful of the cyclists!”

“My son had his Birthday party here last year and this year it was fantastic he loved it we were also provided with orange and blackcurrant cordials. Also a change from last year was the party included pizzas cheese, pepperoni and ham ones all the kids loved it. Will definitely be back again and will also consider having my sons party here again too”

“Went to the Spa experience for the first time here and as keen gym goer with allot of back and shoulders injuries I cannot recommend highly enough the deep tissue massage with Agnieska! She was amazing!”

“Great place for the family, playpark for kids cafe on site with good choice though slightly expensive, good toilet facilities great area for picnics and family fun with cycle paths and access to the shoreline also some weekends free entertainment provided.”

“The store was very large inside so had a wide range of products. The store was clean and tidy. The staff where extremely friendly. A call out to Bradley who was extremely helpful in personally showing me the products. He was also friendly and welcoming at the tills. A must go to for essential outdoors wear and equipment.”

“Great for walkers of all ages. Easy level walking (just watch out for cyclists). Lots to see and information on local history posted along the way.”

“Pleasant open space at the foot of the Belfast hills. Good areas of open spaces and small clips of scattered trees. Excellent local resource for exercise rather than as a place to actually go out of your way to visit. But, if you are passing and need to stretch your legs I wouldn't dismiss it out of hand.”

“Walking along the docks in Belfast and seeing the area where the Titanic was constructed was a great experience. Try to time your visit opposite of the cruise ships and in between the heavy tourist bus season. The walks are nice and the shoreline view of the city is pretty cool from the docks as you can see the ancient mixed with the modern quite nicely.”

“Great place to take the grandkids, it has a small playground but with their imagination it gets transformed into an aeroplane ect. and they get to see the ducks and a beautiful family of swans and then off to explore the forest to spark a conversation about nature around us .The only down side is they took away the restrooms .”
