Lovely atmosphere, beautiful food, our first experience of cocktails (we are beer drinkers), the live soloist was world class, the other patrons were very welcoming just an overall amazing experience. “I tried out Tandoori tonight, and man, it was amazing! This place has got it all - delicious Indian food, great service, and a cozy vibe. Their butter chicken and cheesy garlic naan was amazing which is always how I compare Indian restaurants! The flavors were on point, and the spices were just perfect. Plus, Tandoori is BYO, which is a huge win in my book. The staff was super friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. If you're into Indian cuisine and want an unforgettable dining experience, Tandoori is the place to be. Don't miss out!”

“The food is superb. Unfortunately they weren't answering their phone when I tried ordering takeaways. Tried several times then I left a voicemail thinking that's how they do business. Of course when we arrived at the restaurant they had just checked their message. They started cooking our meals straight away and I can't fault the service but it was an extra 30 minutes that we had to wait. At least I now know only order if someone answers the phone.”

“I was taken by my family for my birthday dinner last night. We all had a wonderful time. Eduardo the owner was a brilliant host, the staff excellent. We all ordered different meals and everyone was very happy with their choices. My grandsons steak looked delicious! The food was worthy of many more visits! This restaurant has a lovely atmosphere and it was so nice to be able to chat without loud background noise. We were all very full and happy when we left to go home. I highly recommend The Mediterranean Birkenhead, you must try!!”

Situated in the centre of rural township of Huapai, this old pub building has indoor - outdoor flow and a restaurant catering to a variety of dining preferences. Warm and friendly staff. “I recently had a birthday and my husband arranged for this beautiful cake to be made my Rohini Jacobs of Millwater Bar and Bistro, it was the most decadent delicious cake, Vanilla with lemon curd filling, super moist and yummy! I gave it 11/10. Super impressive and will definitely order another for anyone special to me.”

“I've been looking for a proper pub that does a proper roast dinner since coming to these fair shores, and have come up fairly short to date. However, I think that has now been rectified - the Bridgman delivers both the authentic feel of a boozer (but in a classy way) as well as a damn fine Sunday roast. Everything here was brilliant, from the service, to the drinks selection, and the food was the icing on the cake. Even the much maligned cheese option was done well here and didn't cost $20 for two small bits of cheese, three crackers and some sour grapes. Would highly recommend this place, if you live anywhere near it, or a train station, come here, as it's only a short walk from Kingsland station, allowing you to build up an appetite along the way.”

The Thai chef made the most authentic Thai Papaya salad that was reminiscent of Bangkok street food, we had to order a second serving. A huge compliment to the chef and staff who were so attentive.”

“Can never go wrong with New Brew. My husband and I have been going here for 5 years. We just recently celebrated his 40th birthday here. The service was great. They even provided an extra table for the cake we brought in. The owner - Julian is so hands on and makes everything feel personal, he checks on how the food is and makes sure you get great service. Also really friendly staff and owner. Atmosphere’s great. And 5 years of going back to New Brew, and the food is always good! My husband used to be a chef and so is really critical with food, but this place never disappoints! All our steaks were cooked to perfection and good hearty meals. Love the live band too! Dont forget to get your bottle of Argentinian Red wine. Love love love this place!”

“This has to be the best steak restaurant in Auckland. We had a perfectly cooked scotch filled that was so tender and perfectly prepared. Sides of crumbled cauliflower and rocket salad went well with our steak. We finished with a cheeseboard for two, which was beautifully presented and generous. Top class restaurant well worth visiting.”

“Went for dinner last night (Thursday 13th July); it was fantastic and staff did really well given looked almost a full house. Really good to see the support and I hope it continues. I had the fish and chips (fish is FRESH South Island Blue Cod in a perfect batter) which was awesome. Wife had Chicken and Bacon Fettuccine which loved!Cudos to the chef and staff. Toby's definitely provide the perfect Restaurant (and bar) experience in Titirangi / West Auckland. There is an outdoor area as well which is perfect for taking your dog(s).”

“Came here on a Saturday to eat some mussels. They also sell oysters, but mussels were cheaper. Place has a nice vibe and great selections of drinks. Last order was at 8pm, so plan accordingly if you plan to eat and drink here.”
