"I definitely recommend Laveen Auto Works, Miguel is a great mechanic and honest man. He was so helpful when I didn’t know what was wrong with my car. Based off of a diagnostic I had received elsewhere I thought it was a really expensive problem. Turns out I just needed an oil change lol he helped save me money and helped inform me on what my car needed and a game plan on how to take care of it better for the future. He could’ve told me anything was wrong but instead he was very honest and helpful. If you’re looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, Miguel is your guy! I’ll be back if anything happens to my car. Highly recommended!"

"Miguel is straightforward, and you can tell he knows what he is talking about. Although he didn't fully repair my vehicle, but only because it is too far gone for what I am willing to spend on it. I found him via Google, and decided on him based on not only his positive reviews but also the way he interacted online with his very few negative reviews. Respectful and did not turn to anger towards them, and asked for feedback so that he could improve for them. That speaks volumes. He did an oil change and pretty thorough diagnostic on my vehicle, and I found his pricing to be very very reasonable. He has earned my future visit for my wife's car and my next vehicle as well. "I was referred to Miguel by my cousins who have been bringing their cars to him for years . I was so worried and scared because I was hearing about all the potential things wrong with my car . But Miguel reassured me that he was gonna find the problem and fix it . Which he did . I was told by another company that my head gasket had blew , when that wasn’t even the problem . All it needed was a new thermostat after the other company had put in a faulty one. Miguel took pictures of what he was doing and explained everything to make me feel heard and understood, my car has been running great since he fixed it . If I could give 10 stars , I would ."

"I took my Highlander to this place for AC problem on 5/31/22. AC flow was very little and the air is not cold. I found this place from google. First thing surprised me that there is no signboard for this busines. However, I left my car with Miguel he called after 2 hours and said that cabin filter was very dirty which was blocking the air. He charged me $140.00 for that and I have to pay by cash. I was shocked that he charged me $20 for parts and $120 for labor and diagnosis. Anyway, when I went with cash to pickup the car I found that AC is flowing good but air is warm. I left the car with him because I need cold air. Next day Miguel called me and said that there is low Freon and he recharged the freon and AC is working. Now he charged me $370. $230 for freon and &140 for filter he replaced earlier also he need all cash. He charged diagnosis twice for the same job. I requested him to lower the bill but he refused. I had no choice. I took cash to pick up my car. Before I gave money, I asked for bill and the receipt. He was surprised because I did not ask for the receipt before. I never seen a business who is not willing to give an invoice and receipt. However, after my insistence he went inside and after 10/15 minutes he gave me an invoice which has no signature. The breakdown of invoice is like below: Parts $21.85 Shop Supplies $85.00 Labor $263.15 ------------------------------------------------------- TOTAL $370.00 I am shocked that my neighborhood workshop guy totally ripped me off."
