"Sandra Hartman cut and styled my hair exactly how I wanted it, and as you all know, that is someone that is hard to find. The salon itself is clean and well-kept. I also had my eyebrows done there in the spring and I'm very happy with the result."

"I would suggest that anyone needing salon services look elsewhere. If your stylist is currently renting a chair in this salon encourage them to rent elsewhere. I just came from an appointment with my stylist. The new woman owner of this salon was upset because one of the stylists in the salon referred a client to my stylist. This upset the new owner so much she accused my stylist of stealing her clients and ruining her business. My stylist had no control over someone referring the new owner's client to her but apparently the new owner blamed her. In fact, she changed the locks on the business, so no one has a key although they all rent chairs from her. She has advised everyone she will open and close the salon. She also advised my stylist, after beginning my service, that she had to leave immediately. My stylist was mortified. Apparently, it didn't matter to the owner she had a business contract with my stylist and was prepared to violate its terms. In fact, this owner was so ridiculous she called the police accusing my stylist of property damage and stealing clients. Her claims of property damage were unfounded which I believe was used to fraudulently entice the police to come to the salon. What a waste of police time and public tax dollars. Fortunately, the officers acted appropriately and advised my stylist she did nothing wrong, and reported she couldn't be forced out. But advised her, she had 30 days to find other business accommodations based on the salon contract. I'm appalled by the owner's actions. They were ridiculous, self serving and unprofessional. I support woman in business wherever I can, but this woman owner deserves no one’s support. Avoid this salon at all costs. To respond to the owners recent comments, I can't image any attorney taking on a case of slander in any manner, unless they just want to take the owner's money. I have been a legal professional for over 35 years and have never seen a case of slander won no matter how egregious the claims made by any plaintiff."

"First I want to say the shop is Beautiful and Clean and it may have been before new ownership….this was done in August of 2022. I got a piggyback perm the stylist rolled my hair so tight and then before doing the piggyback roller would grab my hair and pull it like she was was trying to pull it out of my scalp then she rolled that end. I have now lost about a third of my hair. I have clumps break off and fall out and a huge wad every time I comb it. She was saying her sister used to complain that she was hurting her when she did her hair… and I think she found joy in that. I’ve had a perm in my hair since I was in the 9 th grade and I’m in my late 50’s so I’m not new to the process…I just moved to a new state. This is all on the stylist not the new owner or shop. I plan to give them another chance but not that stylist."
