"I first have to say that I appreciated my therapist and nurse psychiatrist for the support they gave me during a hard time. However…I now know there are some things that aren’t normal or common in practices. Mainly because I’m now with a practice where I never have to wonder about my bill, appointments, or refills on my medications. Firstly, there was no cutoff limit to no call no shows. Having ADHD, missing appointments aren’t uncommon and I take full responsibility for when I do. I incurred more than $500 in late fees which to me feels irresponsible for a practice to not have a set limit. My therapist Adam even said that he should’ve set a limit sooner. I had been seeing him for over 2 years. Now I have to pay for that oversight/mistake. It wasn’t until I needed help with FMLA and disability paperwork that it suddenly became an issue. I was told that it couldn’t be done because it was too much paperwork to transmit to my leave team for work. It seems very unreasonable and unprofessional considering they were already helping with it before and because I was dropped so abruptly and didn't have support from a mental health professional, my case was denied. They refused to provide any further paperwork to help me with my claim at a time where I needed it most. It did nothing but contribute to my mental stress and anxiety. The phone # on file is never answered, voicemails are never returned and it seemed like the only time I heard from them in a timely manner is when the bill came due. If you need a therapist on short notice, this is the place. But in regard to getting long term care, support and help with any type of FMLA I would strongly advise against it."

"I don't understand the level of incompetence I've witnessed in this business. They bill insurance as if you went for two 60-minute appointments, even if you've just gone for one, they don't submit things in a timely fashion. When you email them they don't respond or they send you cryptic text messages that your appointments will be canceled if you don't pay your bill. I see that other persons have received similar treatment. This is known as unethical billing practices. I encourage any patients/customers who have experienced this to go to the Better Business Bureau."

"I had some really bad experiences here with contacting my psychiatrist and scheduling an appointment. They also forgot to order really important medication and they still refuse to take responsibility for it. Everyone including my former psychiatrist dr Pemberton were incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful.They just used me to leach money off the VA insurance but they weren’t interested in helping at all. *** Edit:: no David. I wouldn’t step foot in that office if YOU paid ME. If you want to know what happened I’ve left plenty of voicemails, texts and I believe I’ve messaged you and every dr there directly… you know how to get a hold of me… wanna know what’s wrong, put forth effort and figure it out dude."
