“We drove up on a whim after reading an online article about the property. The rose garden is gorgeous with many exotic varieties and a lovely setting. Although normally only available to specific groups, we lucked out and managed to have a private tour of the wonderfully restored mansion. It has features from the original wall paper and paintings, most enlightening. As far as the restaurant is concerned we were between meals, so had drinks and a good size serving of yam chips, nicely presented in a large cone and glassware. Tasty and full filling. All in all a relaxing and romantic (even after 55 years!), day out in the Adelaide hills. This would be an ideal location and venue for any business or social networking and educational presentations. Highly recommended.”

The only complaint we had was that it was too hot inside as well as in the smokers area. Otherwise this was a great place for a dinner out.”

“Got a chicken schnitzel it was very juicy, chip were nice and warm could have used a touch more salt but good overall. Had the Diane gravy on the side very yummy it was surprisingly sweet. Overall very happy with the meal :)”

“My family and friends had my Aunties Memorial service in the Patio Room on 28/05/2023. If I could give more stars I would. The Patio Room was beautiful and such a serene space to celebrate my Aunties life. Coffee, Tea and cakes were catered by the Salisbury Hotel and they were delicious and a fantastic assortment was presented. Sharon (Manager) was great and a lovely addition to our service. Sharon opened the beautiful bar for our guests and made sure everything was kept full and available for everyone. The Patio Room has its own entrance making it more private for us. Thank you so much for making a usually sad day a much better one. Steph and Family.”

“A very nice experience at this place today for lunch. This place has the best hospitality staff. Erin was fantastic from start to finish. Catering to our dietary needs and even going as far as offering ice cubes to cool down daughters hot tea cup. The food came out fast and was really nice. The half chicken schnitzel was a really good size everyone left feeling full.”

“The Rezz has undergone some renovations and the space is very nice and modern and inviting. There is a play area for kids and games and also a nice lawn area outside looking out towards thorndon park. Service is great and they have delicious meals! I had the gnocchi ragu, which I then cam3 bqck for the next week! Soo good! This is now our new go to local place. It is always very busy so be sure to book for dinner and on weekends!”

“I loved staying here - it was clean, nicely decorated , quiet and very convenient . The codes were easy to follow to get in and find our room - without needing directions from a front of house person. Great location for breakfast right in North Adelaide.”

“This is not your typical Japanese restaurant - it's SO much better! The Ramen is amazing - rich and flavourful. The ala carte items are prepared fresh -within view if you choose to sit at the bar (recommended for couples and a small group of four). Beautiful, fresh, authentic - love it.”

“I did not stay here but dined here probably more than 5 times the last few months. Bartley Tavern definitely I can recommend. Good food, good atmosphere, good price. They have a nice salad station. Generous selections. When you ordered main course you can have access in the salad station defitely worth the money. The best food so far I tried here was the pork crackling with rice. So tasty and Yum! They have a good selection of drinks. Atmosphere beautiful. Service is fast all the time I visited. Friendly staff too 12 July 2022 Today it is sOoo busy. The table we supposed to have got mixed up and was given to another customers. But the staff is so apologetic and look for the best seat she could. We ended up near the bar area with a bigger and better table far from the busy crowded restaurant, we are all very happy of that. So thank you for the beautiful service. The food as usual so delicious. We will always come back on this place.”

“Yesterday I held a charity event and I was very impressed by the calmness of staff amongst the chaos of setting up for the day. The food was amazing, the service by liam was very good. He was helpful and attentive to my guests. I want to commend all staff working that day, including event manager Tayla. They did a fantastic job. Nothing was too hard for them. Very enjoyable atmosphere. Everybody raved about it. Highly recommend if u are looking for a small function venue. Prices were more than reasonable.”
