“Lovely clean restaurant. With a set price what a selection of food available buffet style and you can eat as much as you want. Chinese, Indian, Italian food on the selection and loads of starters and deserts too. Everything I had was delicious and my friend agreed. Lovely staff too. Definitely highly recommend and will definitely return.”

“Lovely wee Thai restaurant. Staff very warm and helpful. Very busy on our visit. They are accommodating on the whole menu, so you can choose the heat or if you want to swap meats etc. Plenty vegan options too. Prices very reasonable. Would recommend!”

“This is so far the best Indian restaurant I have experienced in Aberdeen. We did not book any table and it was a walk in we did yesterday, however the place was already running 50 percent of its capacity and we managed to get a table for four without any issues. Interior decor is newly done and the food took a bit longer than expected. I must admit the flavours we experienced were so authentic and I appreciate the team make a bold move of introducing this new Kerala flavour to Aberdeen. Quantities were good and food tasted really fresh. Their SEAFOOD PLATTER is a MUST TRY! I really wished they served some beer or spirits. I was just browned by the manager that spirits will be served from December 2021. I highly recommend this place and would love to return to enjoy new flavours of Kerala. Well done chef Jinson and team, keep up the good work.”

“Very friendly Italian owner. The stone oven pizzas are great and can be lifted from the plate without the middle of the pizza hanging down. Finally eating pizza the way it should be eaten; by holding it in your hand. They don't taste really good. The pasta was shot-on al dente. We enjoyed this. Go and try it yourself.”

“I wasn't that keen on being asked to move tables when I didn't really want to. My hog roast roll was a bit dry. The rest of the food was decent enough, the frickles (picked gherkins in batter) were the stand out, they were really good. Only fair to bump my review up to 5 stars after my second visit. Had the steak and chips with onion rings and peppercorn sauce. It was excellent! Best chips in town. The house beer is delicious too. I'll definitely be going back. Cheers guys.”

“The scallops are to die for - the best I eat it. Every time I ordered fish is so tasty! I like the fact is the only place I said I want vegetables instead of any carbohydrates and the vegetables are cooked amazing. I just wait for next time. I even take away what was unfinished at our table - it was way too good to go to garbage. Please keep going to cook this amazing food guys!”

“Great service! one of our party had to step away from the meal to take a phone call. They put his plate under a hot lamp for him but when he came back to sit down they told him that they would prepare a new plate instead. I can't think of many places that would do that. I was impressed. The Waiters were good humoured and professional. The food was very good, exactly what I thought it should be based on the description. Portions were generous and everything was clean. I will be coming back again.”

“I ordered a delivery so didn't experience service or the atmosphere. It was like a game of buckaroo in my mouth. Continuously providing a hit of taste endorphins. With every mouthful I was taking I was assured that I hadn't tasted anything as good previously and the high I got in anticipation of the end result just reassuring. The taste, texture and smells coming from the food were delicious, the rice was perfect and the colours were vibrant. Excellent choice”

“The food here is wonderful and there are a lot of different options depending on what you feel in the mood for. Our children loved it as well. Each of the servers were incredibly helpful and kind. Unfortunately, we chose a different Italian restaurant to eat at the second night in Aberdeen and Apertivo was far better in service, food quality and price. We all had different dishes and we loved them all. We would definitely eat here again!”

“We celebrated my father-in-law's birthday at this brilliant restaurant. The food and wine was out of this world, beautifully presented. We were well looked after by our waitress. “Had a meal here last week. Excellent! The service was very good from start to finish. Starters are just a nice size and the mixed pakora is absolutely delicious. The menu for mains is huge, with something for everyone. I opted for a Dhansak which was just so flavorful. Don't forget the poppadoms and the naan bread! Thoroughly recommended. Went back again a few years later. This place is still just a good. Excellent and thoroughly recommended”

“We went here for desi breakfast on Sunday, absolutly loved it all. We ordered Aloo paratha, and keema paratha with omlette... As well as channa Puri and channa moorge. Every dish was tasty and service staff were great. Will definitely come back again when I visit from Birmingham.”

“We planned ahead to enjoy lunch at The Mustard Seed in Inverness…but had no idea just how excellent the entire dining experience would be!! Let me preface by saying that their entire staff takes great pride in not only their presentation…but the service and the quality of food is outstanding as well - and all of this while maintaining a cozy welcoming atmosphere. My wife enjoyed the Heritage and Tomato Peach Salad & the Pan Fried Seabass….I can’t say enough about the Tart & Cajun Roasted Chicken Breast. The food is “done right!” clean and very fresh …. Serving sizes are perfect and the pricing is very well done. Definitely plan to dine at The Mustard Seed while visiting Inverness.”
