About Dr. Ravi Ravinuthala

Dr. Ravinuthala began his postgraduate medical training at the esteemed Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) in Chandigarh, India. His pursuit of excellence led him to England, where he was elected a Member of the Royal College of Physicians of the United Kingdom (MRCP). Further honing his skills, he trained in liver transplantation at the renowned St. James’s University Hospital in Leeds.

In the United States, Dr. Ravinuthala completed his Internal Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Michigan. He further specialized with a Transplant Hepatology Fellowship at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute and is approved by the United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) as a Transplant Hepatologist. He holds the distinction of being the only Board Certified Gastroenterologist in Transplant Hepatology in the Greater Cincinnati area.

Dr. Ravinuthala is extensively trained in all complex aspects of liver disease and general gastroenterology. His practice offers a comprehensive range of services, including ultrasound-guided liver biopsies, therapeutic paracentesis, and routine endoscopic procedures. An Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Cincinnati and The Ohio State University, Columbus, Dr. Ravinuthala is a recognized leader in his field. In 2015, he was awarded the "Fellow of American Association for Study of Liver Diseases" designation, underscoring his contributions and expertise in liver disease.

Personal Interests

Beyond his medical practice, Dr. Ravinuthala enjoys traveling and is a competitive table tennis player. He resides in Mason with his wife and two children.
