"My GI sent me to See Dr. Tymitz for a possible hernia repair. His first words to me when he entered my room was “ I don’t know why you’re here.” My partner and I were dumb founded. I told him I was there because my GI referred me and his response was “I can’t do anything for the hernia. It’s a birth defect, probably there from birth and… ‘However, you need to lose some weight’”. He then proceeded to tell me about his new weight loss clinic’ I’m guessing he hadn’t even read my chart, which includes a diagnosis of gastroparesis. He was cocky and uncaring about the situation at hand. He just wanted another weight loss client!!"

"8 very painful years and still having problems with the skin removal surgery he did. He removed the skin but it all opened back up. I told him I did not need a belly button but he proceeded to give me one any way. It looks like a door knob. Please think twice before letting him touch you."
